"Babe I think we got lost"

"Nooo? You think so?" I answered sarcastically. We had been on the freeway entering different routes for the past hour.

Larry had picked me up from my home and we decided to drive to his house so he could get his clothes ready to wash. It was a beautiful fresh morning. Perfect to go out.

However we had been stuck in the freeway for a while now all thanks to his high. I didn't really like when he smoked weed for one reason alone.

His way of thinking processed slower and therefore it became a challenge of testing my patience all the time.

"Look is that a canyon?" He asked as he got off the freeway and entered a narrowed trail that led to a hiking park.

"Looks like it..Wanna check it out?" I asked. He was already looking for parking deciding we'd go either way.

I loved how adventurous he was. Always finding these fantastic views of the city and mesmerizing spots at the beach where we could enjoy time alone.

"Feel like hiking?" He asked with a smirk as he opened my door.

I noticed he had taken his blunt and lighter with him to smoke out there. Could he ever get enough? I got out of the car and agreed to explore our new finding.

He immediately held my hand as always. Even when I was mad at him he would still look to hold onto my hand. Unless the tables were turned then it would be me trying to hold him.

We hiked down a small road that led to a gate that was opened. The temperature instantly dropped as we reached the bottom.

It had been such a beautiful warm sunny morning. However as we walked down the trail it felt freezing cold.

So cold that our hands felt like ice. It was because the sun didn't touch the bottom end of the trail. So we were left with nothing but a chilly breeze and lots of shade.

The entire scenery was completely breathtaking. I gazed with admiration at these huge mountains with enormous trees that sheltered variety of unique colorful birdies.

I was looking around until I came across Larry's face. He stood by solely gazing at me. "Babe you're missing out on the view" I said while returning my stare at the sunlight that decorated the very top of the mountains so beautifully.

"I try but nothing compares to the view I'm looking at" he said as I turned to face him once again.

"I love you" I said while holding him from the chin. He leaned closer to kiss me.

We kissed passionately with never-ending love. We had gotten so lost in each other's taste as usual that we didn't notice we weren't alone anymore.
