WHY, WHY, WHY
.
It feels like I've been in here for eternity, feels like forever since I've been trying to kick the back lights and I've just now succeeded, I watched as a beam of light filled the lower half of my body. I shifted my foot back inside the car and soon felt the car come to a stop and heard thuds, I started to panic more than before. The horn of the wheel beeped and rang in my ear as it didn't stop. I saw more light fill the space I'm crowded in as the door of the trunk opened, revealing an angry and bloody Louis. He swiftly picked me up and helped me out of the trunk and pushed me closer to his tense body and pulled out a gun from his pocket and pointed to the man who had wobbled up from the seat of the car towards us.
"Do it, you won't" the man tumbled on his feet
"Oh I will" Louis hissed
I looked at the man closer and saw the badge on his pocket "Louis, I wouldn't do t-"
It was too late, I was cut off by Louis pulling the trigger of the gun making a loud bang that popped my ears
"You just killed an officer" I murmured
"I know. Felt good"
A moment of silence filled the atmosphere as we stood close together
"How did you find me?" I questioned
"I was sitting in the van when I heard a scream which made me look up, and when I did I saw a man dragging you come into my view, I was gonna get out and run to you but he had already put you in the car a few seconds after I noticed you. I knew I wouldn't be able to catch you in the van so I got out and well. Lets just say there was a lambo beside our van" he pointed to the matte red lambo behind us.
"Don't tell me you hijacked this" I sighed
"Why do you even care about that" You're a criminal too he squinted his eyes
"Well I don't hijack cars, kill people-"
"You would've had to kill someone at one point" he tilted his head to the side
"I wouldn't would've had to kill anybody but actually did you hijack this" I toned my voice to serious
"No I didn't. I knew if I did you wouldn't help me anymore"
"Good" I nodded
"Yep, now we need to return this" he said, putting on a mask on his face as he walked back to the car
"Oh- so we're just gonna leave hi- ok" I stuttered and then jogged to the passenger seat
"You know a thank you for saving your ass would be appreciated, you know" he started the car
"Didn't know we were fully talking again from before the store" I crossed my arms
"Look I'm sorry ok"
I exhaled deeply "if you don't really need me then why did you come and help me?" I referred to him telling me 'it's not like I even need you
"I do need you. I'm just not used to...being with people" he took a long pause
I smiled to myself while looking the opposite direction so he would see it
"Wipe that smug smile of your face" he groaned slightly annoyed
