Tuesday was hard for Kyouka, more than she'd like to admit. The moment Momo left her house that Monday afternoon and it left her with all her thoughts, she forcefully pushed them away. By the time Tuesday rolled around, she felt forced to assess everything that has happened the past couple of days. From finding out Y.M's identity to a couple of mental breakdowns, which all ended up in Kyouka telling Momo her identity. Then soon after being throttled into a situation where she had to explain everything to Momo. It was a lot for her emotions and it took a lot out of her considering it's far from what was normal for her. She slept in that Tuesday morning, opting to miss her second class, and as she entered the school building, she unsuccessfully buried the nerves that were erupting in her stomach.

She could barely think straight. Her mind was racing with constant worries and imagined situations. Constant worries of what will happen next seemed to follow and she could only ignore the feeling as she made her way through the hallway. All she could do was move forward, no matter what that even meant for her. Yet, as she made direct eye contact with Momo, things seemed to change. If seeing Momo's smiling face as she passed through the hallways seemed to cease the boiling nerves in her stomach, she didn't acknowledge it. She didn’t dare to. Everything was happening so fast and she couldn’t help but feel like she was in a car going way past the speed limit.

Naturally, as a couple of days went by, Kyouka and Momo saw themselves enraptured by how often the other would seem to appear in their day-to-day life. Kyouka was a lot less nervous and that awkward phase was a lot less prominent in their conversations and interactions. Though things were awkward and time was limited, they’ve had their fair share of small moments together. Whether it was talking at the other’s locker when it was their free period or they had extra time, or the secret glances shared during lunch when they didn’t sit together. One thing that significantly changed was that Kyouka started waking up early. She started arriving at school for her first period, even if that only allowed her and Momo to talk for a couple of minutes. Granted, conversations didn’t come easily between the two, but Momo liked to believe that was the charm of it all.

Momo was confused about what was supposed to happen next. Given a certain scenario, she could easily envision many distinct possibilities of what would happen next. Yet, she was stumped when it came to Kyouka. As Kyouka seemed to always make new emotions and new circumstances arise, Momo wasn’t surprised that she was stumped because of her. The moment of them knowing each other's identity always seemed like something was starting anew, yet before when she imagined this day coming she never really thought of what could happen next, aside from occasional conversations and hangouts at Kyouka’s house. Her choices would reflect what happens next, but she couldn’t even process what she could do to make things move forward.

So she did what she thought was best. She talked to Kyouka, which led her to where she was now. Standing by Kyouka’s locker on Thursday before the fourth period bell was going to ring. It was uncertain if this would give the two of them enough time to talk, but Momo was also excited to see Kyouka again, deciding to use her concerns as an excuse.

As Kyouka passed by her locker, she glanced at Momo with a raised eyebrow. “What’s up?” She asked, and Momo couldn’t stop the gentle smile pulling at her cheeks. She watched as Kyouka opened the locker easily, unlocking the lock she had given her. The memory from when she bought that lock seemed almost distant by now.

“May I share my thoughts with you?” Her tone was soft, but couldn’t hide the rising confusion that lay beneath it. Kyouka only nodded in response, showing Momo she was listening. “I’m confused as to what’s supposed to happen next.”

Kyouka furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. “What?” She asked. “What do you mean by that?”

“It’s obvious that we’ll spend time together, but what happens after that, aside from being closer to each other?”
