Naghiyawan ang mga tao nung lumabas sa backstage ang mga kalahok. I covered my ears since their screams were piercing and it was making my head hurt. The theme of this competition is about ecosystem inspired look, so all of the participants are wearing recycled clothings.

I cast my eyes on all of the participants and was shocked when I saw Gellian, looking so fine with his transparent plastic shirt, which makes his well-defined body slightly exposed. Mayroon siyang kapa sa likod na mula sa magazine at bumagay iyon sa suot niyang pantalon na gawa naman sa mga strip papers na may kulay asul, pula dilaw, at puti. Watawat ang sagisag nito.

"You can do it, Gellian!" sigaw ko mula sa front seat nung magsimula ang question and answer portion.

Napansin ko kasing nanginginig ang kamay niya. Gellian's face looks florid, and his jaw is clenched. I can easily read that he's nervous. Seeing him being shy makes me remember those golden days when we were young. He's always been a shy kid, and I'm the one encouraging him to be strong. 

Binigyan naman niya ako nang matamis na ngiti. Magagaling ang mga naunang kalahok pero may tiwala akong kaya itong ipanalo ni Gellian. He's always been hesitant to cross his comfort zone, but he never considered defeat. Gellian always gives his best in everything he does.

Mr. Velasquez, who is our principal, cleared his throat before uttering the question on the microphone. He's undeniably strict, so a lot of us are not fond of him. I never left my sight on Gellian as he swallowed the lump in his throat. 

"Paano magmahal ang isang Gellian Ross Zamora?" Mr. Velasquez asked in a monotone.

The side lips of Gellian rose up upon hearing the question. I was stunned when he centered his gaze on me. His eyes speak a lot of emotions. My whole system gets confused after hearing his answer.

"A-ang pagmamahal ko... ay dalisay gaya ng alon sa karagatan. Kahit anong ulos ay hindi ito matitinag..." He sounds so genuine, and it's making my heart warm.

He's finally in love! I wonder who is the lucky girl whom he loves. Gellian had never told me about his crush before, so I couldn't help but to feel curious. 

"Hindi ko inaasam na tanggapin ng mahal ko ang aking pag-ibig... at handa akong maging tapat dahil sa puso ko'y siya lang ang sapat." He wiped his tears with his back hand when they rolled over his cheeks. 

Napatayo sa kanilang upuan sila Gabriel, Roque at Leonard at masayang pumalakpak. Tumayo na rin kami nila Kyle kasabay ng maingay na hiyaw ng mga estudyante. That heartwarming answer from Gellian made him the Mr. Instram of this year.

I was on my toes when I gave Gellian a tight hug after he went down the stage. I'm super proud, which makes me not care about the people looking at us. Bumitaw naman ako agad nung magsalita ang isang lalaking may baritong boses.

"Mr. Zamora, I'm Mr. Alvarez from Versace Modelling PH." The man gave his business card to Gellian.

Gellian wiped his hand on his pants before accepting the card. "Nice to meet you, sir."

"I just want to ask if you consider being a model or a celebrity. I'm actually here to look for aspiring students who can be our future superstars." Mr. Alvarez explained.
