Bumaba sila Kyle mula sa isang Lexus Silver Car na pagmamay-ari ng isang lalaki na wari ko'y kaedaran din namin. Agad naman akong humingi ng tawad sa kanila at sinabing hindi namin maso-solo ang buong resort dahil napatunayan kong nakapag-
reserve nga ang pamilya ni Valerie, ang babaeng may kaarawan ngayong araw.

We're all wearing our swimwear outfits when we head towards the exclusive right pool. The left pool was reserved for Valerie's party, and they were pretty loud because of their huge speakers. I was able to show our present to Kyle, which includes his heavenly poster, while the solemn music played in the background, and of course, his favorite mocha cake that Ezra and I baked last night.

Umupo muna ako sa cottage seat matapos nilang umalis saglit. When my phone rang, I was assisting our staff in setting the table. I excitedly checked it and saw a good afternoon text from Aaron, to which I replied the same too.

Aaron appears to be very busy now that Gellian has arrived. I wonder if they hung out together with Gabriel, Roque, and Leonard. It's been a long time since I saw those three musketeers because they are also busy with their professions.

A croaky voice whispered beside me, "Excuse me, cutie."

Humarap ako sa pinanggalingan ng boses at nakita ang isang matangkad na lalaki. Moreno ang kanyang kutis na agad kong napansin dahil wala siyang suot pang-itaas. Tinuon ko nalang sa kanyang mukha ang aking tingin at agad siyang ngumiti sa akin.

I pointed at myself. "A-are you referring to me?"

"Yes, I am calling you cutie because you're cute. By the way, I'm George and I'm interested in you."

I'm amazed at where he got his confidence to say that to me. Is it that easy to confess to someone without having a fear of being rejected? I wish I had the same confidence as this guy.

"I'm s-sorry, George, but I... already have someone in my heart. I appreciate you taking an interest in me, so I'm scared to reject—"

Napatigil ako nung tumawa siya. "That's fine, cutie. You don't have to feel sorry if you reject someone. It still depends on you whether you will agree or decline. Enjoy your day and I wish you the best with your love." He winked at me then went back to the left pool.

Gabi na nung matapos kaming maligo sa pool ng buong Rainbow Squad. Sa cottage table ay nakahanda ang barbeques, mga sliced fruits at ilang mga alak na pina-request ni Levi. Mas lalong lumakas ang ingay sa kabilang pool kaya halos hindi na kami magkarinigan nila Kyle habang nag-
uusap. Nung buksan ni Levi ang Alfonso 1 Brandy ay hudyat na simula na ang masinsinang usapan.

"Kyle, kumusta nga pala yung love story niyo ng boss mo?" asar ni Levi habang sinasalin sa baso ang alak.

"Wag niyo nang alamin kasi hindi ko magugustuhan 'yon." Mahinang sabi ni Kyle.

"Oo nga, wag na natin pilitin si Kyle kung ayaw niya." Ginaya ko ang mahinang boses ni Kyle.

"T-teka nga, bakit kayo bumubulong? Ang hihina ng mga boses niyo, eh wala naman dito yung pinag-uusapan natin!" Bahagyang tumaas ang boses ni Ezra bago tumungga ng whiskey.

Levi took a glance at Ezra, looking worried. "Ghorl, okay ka lang? Kanina ka pa galit, napapansin namin. May naka-away ka ba? Sabihin mo lang... reresbakan natin."

Ezra just shrugged. I gave him a sweet smile, hoping it would calm him down. Lumihis naman ang tingin ko pabalik kay Kyle nung tumayo siya at yakapin ang lalaking naghatid sa kanila kanina.

I saw how the guy bit his lower lip while looking at Ezra. "Do you guys mind if I join your table?" He politely asked for permission.

"Sure! Why not? Basta ba mag-aambag ka ng $5,000." Levi gestured his hand to the vacant seat in front of Ezra.

Ezra growled in frustration. "Para kang timang, Levi!" He stood up from his seat and barged out of the scene, leaving us dumbfounded.

Despite the guy's anxious face, he managed to introduce himself to us after Ezra left. He said his name is Carlos. I'm not a fan of judging someone's intention the first time you saw them, but he seems like an honest and trustworthy guy.

Carlos was very vocal with his thoughts when told that he had also noticed Ezra's unusual behavior towards him. I couldn't help but feel bad. That's why I suggested that he should follow Ezra, and he gladly obliged without wasting any more time.

Pagkatapos umalis ni Ezra at Carlos ay si Kyle naman ang sumunod dahil kailangan daw niyang pumunta sa banyo saglit. The Rossi Pink Moscato is tempting me. That's why I asked our staff, who's been looking out for me since earlier, to follow Kyle. As soon as they left, I immediately removed the cap of the wine and drank it like there was no tomorrow.

"Huy! Z-zein, hinay-hinay lang. Tama na 'yan!" Naagaw sa akin ni Levi ang bote pero ramdam ko na agad ang pagkahilo.

"O-one, two, shh... shreee... W-why do you have sh-so many faces? W-which face is t-true, hmmm?" I hummed as I counted Levi's multiple faces in the air.

 

Levi scratched his scalp. "Malalagot ako nito! Nangako pa naman ako sa mokong na 'yon na babantayan kita."

"I'm fine, L-Levi. Look!" I stood up on top of my seat and tried to balance with my one foot, but Levi hurriedly pulled me down.

Nakanguso ako habang nakatingin sa kawalan. Pakiramdam ko'y nagsa-slide ako sa rainbow habang nakasakay kay Little Pony. Binalik ko ang aking tingin kay Levi nung marinig ko ang pangalan ng lalaking kinaiinisan ko.

"Hello Gellian? Sorry kung napatawag ako. Ito kasing si Zein–"

Hindi natuloy ni Levi ang gusto niyang sabihin nung kunin ko ang cellphone niya. Tiim ang aking bagang at nanginginig ako sa galit lalo pa nung magsalita si Gellian sa kabilang linya.

"Go on, Levi! What happened to my little pony?!" Gellian uttered nervously.

I screamed my heart out. "Little Pony? Ang kapal ng mukha mong tawagin akong Little Pony pagkatapos mo akong i-kiss tapos hindi ka na nagparamdam!"

Hindi siya sumagot kaya nagpatuloy ako.

"Walang text! Walang tawag! Ano 'yon? Kiss and Run?! Sabihin mo lang kung dapat pa ba kitang hintayin..." Tears escaped from my eyes. "k-kasi gusto ko nang sumuko."

He gasped. "Z-zein,"

"Sawa na akong... m-maghintay, Gellian." My voice broke.

I started to whimper. "A-ang sabi mo, papakasalan mo 'ko p-pagbalik mo–"

"I will! If you want, we can get married tomorrow, but I want to take it slow." Gellian bravely said.

I heard him sob. "I will do my best to make you love me just like how much I'm crazy in love with you, my little pony."
