Sid stood beside the counter
She picked up the fry pan and walked towards the dustbin.. Sid was sitting on the counter near the stove

After sometime
Avu-Counter se neeche utro.. Ban gaya!

The both sat at the dining table
Sid-so, your dad?
Avu looked at him
Avu-uhh.. He died when I was still in my mother's womb.. Never saw him or knew him

Avu smiled faintly

Avu-Most people don't... So figured out you didn't too(she shrugged)
Sid sighed and looked down
Sid-I meant it though(he shrugged)
Avu smiled still looking down

Next Day
Avu woke up and did her Daily chores and went down to meet SA
Avu-Hey mom(she hugged her)
She looked at her face and she was crying.. Her heart stopped at the sighed
Avu-M-mom.. What did the Doctor said?
SA sobbed
SA-i don't wanna talk about that right now, sweetheart please
Avu nodded..soothingly patted her back and left
She went upstairs and stood in the balcony staring Ahead
Sid-You seem sad
She flinched by his sudden voice
Avu-Nothing to do with you
Sid tilted his face to the side
Sid-I was just trying to talk to you(He held his hands up)
Avu Almost Smiled
Avu-Why? I thought we didn't liked each other(she looked at him)
Sid stared outside
Sid-You looked sad(he shrugged)
Avu-And?
Sid-I wanted to make sure you were okay
Avu smiled towards the left side so he doesn't see it
Avu-oh suddenly a day comes when you become a gentleman, huhh?
He smiled and looked at her
Sid-Have always been a gentlemen.. You were the only one who wasn't gentle
Avu narrowed her eyes
Sid-Fine don't start again.. Am actually scared of that face of yours(made a grumpy face)
