Sid-Wait! (He smiled at her widely) those-those reports said you are going alright and he had to take test to see the improvement
Avu shook her head
Avu-Yah the improvement..(she laughed hysterically) The improvement is that it is more deadly now..(she sighed) Don't feel hopefull please because it's gonna shatter one day or another (she smiled small at him)
Sid-You aren't going to die! (He seethed)
Avu-Look at yourself now..Trying to fix me(she kept the same smile on her face)
Sid-What is wrong with you! I am not trying to fix you(he looked at her with a pained expression) I am trying to find a cure for you!
Avu-i am not sick! I am not! And what do you think? You got to know about it now so no one ever tried to do that! Everyday! Someone or someone else tried! Tried ! And one day they got tired of it and excepted the reality...You will go through the same process too(tears started slipping from her eyes)
Sid-You're saying like it's inevitable(he shook his head with teary eyes)
Avu-Because it is! And you don't believe it because you don't know..You don't know Anything!
SA-why are you both yelling?
Avu-It's nothing, mom!
SA-do you need me?
Avu-No!
SA-but-
Avu-please go,mom.. Please
SA-okay
Her footsteps descended
She held his hands and clenched her eyes shut and opened them after sometime
Sid placed a hand on her cheek
Sid-Everything's gonna be alright (he nodded)
She looked up at him for a moment and clenched her eyes shut and shook her head as tears leaked from her eyes
Tears slipped from Sid's eyes too and he wiped them off from his free hand while still keeping his hand on Avu's cheek
Sid-You aren't gonna nod back..Are you? (His voice Quavered)
Avu cried harder and held on to his shirt for support..Sid hugged her instantly and held onto her tightly and sighed
Sid-Is it selfish of me to wish that there must be something to save you?
