Wally stood over the stove in the kitchen, starting to cook breakfast for the two.
He flinched when a soft cry was heard. He thought it was in his head, but then he heard it again.
Wally turned off the stove and made his way towards the noise. In Their bedroom, Dick sat on the bed, sobbing.
Wally rushed over and practically tackled him with a hugs.
" What's wrong babe?" Wally whispered.
" I-It's my parents a-anniversary"
Wally understood now, he hated when Dick was upset.
Wally rubbed the boy wonders back, Dick leaned into Wally's touch.
They ended up cuddling, Wally's embrace was protecting Dick from the outside world. Dick wasn't sobbing anymore, just shaking. Wally kissed up Dick's neck, Dick hummed in approval.

Both of the boys were half asleep.
" Go to sleep my little bird" Wally whispered before falling into drakness.
Dick wasn't as sad anymore.
