moon aeri sighed as she watched her classmates panic, although one girl caught her attention the most because of her voice. lee nayeon. how annoying, the silent girl thought.

suddenly, the door opened, revealing coach kang. most of the students went quiet, retreating slightly while han gyeongsu approached the man carefully.

❝are you guys alright?❞

aeri didn't missed the way he tried to hide his arm from the view of others.

gyeongsu nodded at his question, questioning him back. ❝what about you? you weren't bitten?❞ the moon child crossed her arms and placed it in front of her, standing up— her seat scrapping against the floor which made the coach cower in pain.

crouching down to grab her bat, the girl pointed it at the man who glared at her. ❝you. get out.❞ her classmates snapped their heads towards the usually silent girl, disbelief written in their expressions. the boys who were working on the barricade, stopped their works after hearing her demand.

nayeon was the first one to speak up. ❝what the fuck are you on? what if he's not bitten!? will you just leave coach kang with those monsters!?❞ aeri merely scoffed at her complaints, clicking her tongue right after.

❝aren't you quite observant?❞ she mocked, pressing her bat against the teacher's throat. the man choked, holding the base of the bat. now pressing the man against the wall with the metal bat, the moon girl spoke once again. ❝take a look at his arm, you idiot. stop telling me your what if's, i don't need those.❞

onjo did as told, her face going pale at the sight of the bite mark.

❝coach kang. your arm..❞

❝what are you staring for!? help me from this crazy—❞

❝you have a bite mark on your arm!❞

the students stiffened more at the knowledge. aeri pressed her bat harder on his throat, cutting off his air supply. ❝i said get out, didn't i?❞ she muttered, only for someone to yank her away from the man. ❝are you seriously trying to kill him!?❞

the moon child almost let out a snort at his angered tone, an amused smirk making its way on her lips. ❝would you rather die, then?❞ the boy stumbled away in fear, now watching their teacher bite their classmates— turning them into zombies as well.

rolling her eyes at how much of a coward he was, aeri dropped the bloody bat on the ground and pulled out the bow— aiming and effectively killing the zombies by shooting arrows on its throat.

❝what a pain. if it weren't for him pulling me away from that zombie, we would have all survived.❞ aeri grabbed her bat once again before standing up on a desk, scanning the hallways which was filled with zombies.
