7: (How love blossomed- PART 1)

It's been two weeks since Chanyeol and Baekhyun met each other. Days passed and changed but one thing that didn't change was their unknown yearning to see each other once again.

Jongin now started visiting Baekhyun's cafe every Saturdays for the cupcakes. When, for the very first time he called the baker that he wants to visit the cafe and taste the cakes, Baekhyun grins and laughs at the same time about how the cupcakes are now the songwriter's guilty pleasure which lead to Jongin blush. He, however shrugged it off smiling sheepishly. He visits the cafe once in a while since it is nearby and makes sure to go late when there are no customers. Minseok and Miss Carter were shocked yet surprised when Baekhyun introduced Jongin to them at first. But now since he is like a daily customer, they got used to him meeting every week.

It is like any other day in SM entertainment when Chanyeol enters Jongin's office. Jongin is busy structuring melodies and accompaniments in his notepad probably for his next new song.

"Hey Jongin. I have to tell you something." Chanyeol blurts out taking a seat while he sips on his drink.

"Yeah speak up. I am listening." Jongin now looks straight up at Chanyeol. Keeping his notepad aside, he yawns and stretches his hands tiredly.

"Um. You know my birthday is around the corner. So why not celebrate it at my home. I will treat you and Yixing."

Jongin eyes widdens. Shocked written in those brown eyes. "Dude, what's up with you huh? You celebrate your birthday at the club with girls not at home with us. What has got into you this time?"

Chanyeol sighs. He knew this was coming and now he has to give his best friend a proper explaination. He smiles sheepishly saying, "I have changed my mind this time. I- I want to spend this birthday with you guys. You know."

Jongin finds it hard to believe since he has known Chanyeol for years. He knows the taller is upto something but he decides to ignore it this time and gives a big "Yes" to the taller's idea saying 'sometimes it is nice to celebrate birthdays with friends at home.'

Chanyeol breathes in relief and what he says next makes Jongin smirk because now he understands why the taller wants to celebrate his birthday at home.
"And yes, Jongin tell that guy, uh you know, B-Baekhyun to bring fresh warm cupcakes for our dessert at my birthday. Give him my address. We will receive it."

"Ohhh, so that's why you are celebrating this way huh? Already missing your pretty boy huh Yeol"

"No. Why would I? It's- It's just that you like his cupcakes so I am being considerate to bring those rather than buying them from expensive restaurants. I also legit want to celebrate my birthday at home this time rather than on clubs." Chanyeol answers not confidently. He knows he got caught in the moment but he denies to say anything.

Yes, it's true. Chanyeol has been thinking of different excuses of how to meet the smaller again. Since 27th November, his 24th birthday is just in two days, he came up with this silly idea which he is sure that Jongin now has got a small hint.

Jongin laughs out loud making Chanyeol blush a little in embarrassment. "Alright alright. We will come." Jongin says, slowly recovering from his laugh. "And yes! Luckily today is Saturday and i visit his cafe every Saturdays. So why don't you join me today and choose the cupcakes yourself for your birthday?" Jongin smirks knowing too well the taller won't decline the offer especially when he has a chance to meet Baekhyun there.

Chanyeol grins happily. "Okay! I will see you in the evening then. Let me complete my work by then. Bye!"

Jongin rocks his head chuckling when Chanyeol leaves. He mutters to himself, "Park Chanyeol is finally in love, I see"
