It was a little after ten, in the morning, and the market-place was quite crowded.
The market-place wasn't the most organized of areas, but it was where a person could find anything and everything they might have been looking for.
That particular alleyway was always bustling with lively energy, but the present day boasted a bit more buzz than any other day - and that was because it was Valentine's Day.
Ah yes, the one day of the year during which the cheesiest romance dialogues were warmly welcomed by lovers all across the globe.
Most of the shoppers, at that moment, were attempting to purchase last minute gifts for their loved ones, and you were no exception.
You were only in your last year of college, yet many would have been surprised to know that you'd had everything together better than most of your peers would.
Between working to achieve a degree in Neuroscience, and working a part-time job at the city's pub, you'd somehow managed to make allowance for a love life.
Caleb was someone that you'd met in your first year of college, and as soon as the two of you had met, you'd begun nurturing a strong friendship - one that eventually turned into a romantic relationship.
Making allowance for him in your life was something you'd done knowing that it was risky. You were already trying to balance everything else in your life, and you had been worried that a relationship would interfere with all of that. However, you were glad that you'd taken the risk, because your life had only become more fulfilling.
There was something extremely satisfying about being able to excel in every aspect of your life so far, and you could only hope that even better things lay ahead.
Since this was your first Valentine's Day occasion with Caleb, you'd sought out to get him something meaningful - jewelry, of sorts.
The both of you had planned to meet at a familiar restaurant that evening, and you were definitely looking forward to spending your first Valentine's Day with him.
However, so far, you hadn't seen anything that you liked, forcing you to continue walking along, passing stall after stall.
Suddenly, you saw a stall that caught your eye. Some of the items on display were antique mirrors, each one crafted in its own unique splendour.
Behind the display table sat two young men, appearing to be about the same age as you. One was blond, and the other was a brown-haired individual, possessing curly hair.
One of the first things that you noticed was the blond male's blue eyes that were so beautifully shaped, he might as well have been a feminine man.
He looked mischievous, down-to-earth and cheeky.
The other young man, however, seemed to be much less vivacious, focused only on a uniquely designed guitar that rested in his lap.
He looked more focused though not necessarily more quiet, if that made any sense.
As the blond, blue-eyed told, what you assumed to be, jokes, the other one laughed, still focused on his instrument.
