A tired sigh fell past your lips as you brushed some of your hair away from your face. You were seated on the carpeted floor of your living room, a wide array of your personal belongings scattered around you - a suitcase wide open in front of you. So far, you'd managed to pack half of what you needed for a few days' trip away from home - but you still had a fair bit to go.

It was the evening before Valentine's Day, and though you had a wedding ring on your finger, your marital home was painfully quiet - because your husband wasn't there with you. If a stranger had happened to stumble upon the present scene, they certainly wouldn't have believed that you had a husband, and that you'd been married for three years.

However, even though your husband wasn't there with you, at that point in time, your marriage was far from distant or void of romance - your husband just happened to be an individual that was a busy and renown musician.

By 'renown', it was meant that he was the guitarist for the notorious rock band called Queen.

Indeed, your husband was Brian May, and indeed, the three other boys were your family - even though you weren't biologically related.

It went without saying that all four boys adored you, three of then bearing familial love for you, and of course, your husband being the one that bore romantic love for you.

You'd only known them for five years, but it felt as though you'd known them for several lifetimes. From the moment you'd met them, your days had become brighter, just as theirs had become more joyful.

Of course, they were Queen, so their work schedules were awfully demanding - but you hadn't quite experienced it for yourself until you'd fallen into a romantic relationship with Brian. That was when you'd truly come to know of the boys' schedules, inside out,and the more serious you and Brian got, the more you were required to be familiar with the requirements of the band's career.

When the boys weren't on tour, they were in the recording studio, and when they weren't in the recording studio, they were on tour - it was crazy, but it was life, and soon enough, you'd gotten used to it.

Initially, you'd spent some of your early years travelling with the boys whenever they went on tour, but after getting married, that had changed. Shortly after you'd tied the knot, you'd settled down in the home that you and Brian had made for yourselves, and though Brian was there with you for the most part, he still had to leave whenever it was time for a tour.

And at the present moment, the boys were on one of those tours, which meant that your husband wasn't home with you - and yes, he wasn't home with you on Valentine's Day.

However, you had planned a little surprise, so that you'd be able to see him for the romantic occasion.

Since you often conversed with the boys, on the phone, every night, you'd skillfully managed to make plans with the other three boys without Brian's knowledge - plans to get you to where he would be on the 14th.

Of course, for most of the tour, Brian hadn't been in the best of moods, mainly because he was so far away from you, and he hated being separated from the woman he loved more than anything - even more than the guitar he'd built for himself.
