• ♡•❥তততততত•♥•তততততত❥•♡ •You rushed down the staircase, fixing on your wrist watch as you hurried to the kitchen.
Downstairs, your three children and your beloved husband of thirteen years were already preparing for breakfast. Normally, you were awake before everyone else in order to prepare breakfast, but you'd happened to sleep in that morning.
It was Valentine's Day, but for you it was just like any other regular day - and the same had gone for your husband.
Looking at the sort of life you currently led, it was extremely difficult to tell that the love with your husband had once been insanely fervent, but it was even more difficult to tell that you had been married to someone who was renown for being a part of the rock band called Queen.
Very difficult indeed.
You were married to the guitarist, Brian May, but over thirteen years prior, things had been very different.
Back then, you'd both been young adults, living life without much direction, even though you'd both had fairly stable plans for your individual futures.
In the early seventies was when you had met the boys of Queen, for you had been a young journalist at the time - and the job had brought you to cross paths with them. When you'd first met them, you would never have thought such a strong bond would form from that moment on, but when it did, you couldn't have complained.
As sudden as your first encounter with them might have been, you couldn't deny that you'd all gotten along extremely well, as if you'd been friends for the longest time. Back then, it was easier to create connections without worrying about what it might or might not have become, but you were grateful that your connection with the boys had become something.
It hadn't been long before you'd gotten carried away with your life with the boys, eventually falling into a whirlwind of a romance with Brian, after which a higher form of commitment followed.
The other three boys - Freddie, Roger, and John, were just as important to you as Brian was, but you bore a different type of love for them. With the other three, it was a very familial bond, something that they reciprocated - and of course with Brian, it was romantic.
Things had once seemed like they would never change, and that they would always be perfect - but that was not the case.
Over the years, after you and Brian had wed, you'd settled down into a home that you'd both chosen for yourselves, and the frivolous nature of the days with the boys had slowed down. The boys had also lost some of the enthusiasm and energy they'd once had, even though they still performed as a band.
Ironically, the more successful they grew, the less boyish they were. Now that they'd achieved wide success, they'd simmered down slightly, and so had you.
Don't get the wrong idea, you all still knew how to have fun - just not in the way that you once could.
Now that you had children, 'having fun' wasn't something you could just do whenever you wanted. After becoming a mother, your priorities had changed, and so had Brian's.
Together, you had three beautiful children - two boys and one girl. Nathaniel was your eldest, at ten years old; Richard was eight, and Kiara was your youngest, at six years old.
