Will POV
I wasn't nervous, I'm sure they will say yes but asking someone for their daughters hand in marriage is tough.
Alexis parents walked in and I suddenly was nervous.
"Hey Will."
"So I take it that this isn't a casual dinner?"
They both sat down, I was suddenly parched grabbing some water I shook my head.
"Um no it's not, I would like to ask you guys something."
"I have a feeling on where this is heading but I will let you speak."
Henry nodded signaling me to continue.
I took a deep breath and continued.
"Caroline, Henry I would like you permission to marry Alexis."
Well I said it now I have to hear what they are going to say.
"Son, I would be honored to be your father in law."
"Of course Will you have our blessing."
"So how are you going to ask her?"
"Uh..."
"I don't really know but I do have the ring."
"Caroline the boy just got permission, I don't think he has thought that far."
"Oh of course, I was just so excited when are you planning on doing it."
"I'm thinking when we get home."
"Oh I'm so excited I have a friend who is a wedding planner, I will give her a call."
"Sounds good?"
Suddenly my phone rang.
"Hello?"
"Will, I can't keep her occupied for much longer she is starting to get suspicious."
"I'm on my way."
"I have got to go, Alexis is getting suspicious and I don't think my friend can keep her occupied for long."
"Haha that sounds like my daughter."
"Well Will I hope we will be getting a call from Alexis soon."
"Thank you so much."
"See you later."

Alexis POV
"Carter!"
"Yes...."
"Where is Will?"
"Uh he had a meeting but is on his way back to the hotel now we can meet him there."
When we got to the hotel, Will was waiting at his car.
"Hey is that Will Clements!" Carter screamed like a girl.
He looked up and around, his eyes landed on me and Carter.
"I'm not signing autographs sorry."
His tone was sarcastic, he walked over to me.
"Well I will leave you two love birds alone now."
"How was the meeting?"
"What meeting...."
Will wrapped his arms around me nuzzling his face into my neck.
"You know the one you ditched me for."
"Oh that one, yea it went fine better than expected."
"Now come on let's go."
