Sam stared at Leah as she prepared for her date with Aiden, he couldn't believe that she had imprinted and was moving on from him; not that he didn't want her to be happy but it hurt to see her with someone else.
Emily smiled watching Leah get ready for her date with Aiden, she couldn't believe that her cousin was finally happy; she knew that Leah and Aiden were perfectly suited for one another and hoped that maybe now she could try and be friends with Leah again.
Leah was wearing a black lace pencil dress with panelling paired with black metal trim heeled sandals that she hadn't worn in ages because she didn't feel confident enough.
"You look like a girl," Jared said stunned staring at the female shifter, who was putting the finishing touches to her make-up. Sam watched her sadly as she prepared for her date, he remembered a time she'd dressed up like that for him.
"That's because I am," Leah replied flashing a smile at Jared, who stared at her; none of them had ever seen her like this before and it was a little weird to see her like this instead of the bitter harpy that they'd known for the last few months.
"So where is Aiden taking you?" Emily asked curiously moving out of the kitchen and set a plate of muffins on the kitchen table; the pack were quick to take one each while they waited for Leah to answer.
"Bella Italia," Leah said making sure that her short ebony hair was okay, she hated that she'd had to cut it so short after she'd become a shape-shifter and it was the one of the many reasons her confidence had dipped.
Leah smiled hearing Aiden pull up outside of the house before she flashed the pack a nervous smile; she picked up her cream tassel front clutch bag and headed for the door.
Aiden smiled at Leah as she stepped out of the house, her eyes focusing on the white Audi R8 that was parked outside; she wondered for a moment were the siblings got the money for cars like this.
"Hello," Aiden greeted stopping at the bottom of the steps into Emily's home to help Leah down them so she didn't fall; she smiled back at him gratefully as she took his hand so she could get down the stairs.
Aiden was wearing a black shirt and jeans paired with some smart shoes for the date and she was pleased that she wasn't overdressed for their date.
It had been a while since she had been on a date and Leah was determined to enjoy herself, she deserved it after everything that she had been through and it was time to put it in her past.

"We'll have the baked Italian cheese and dipping breads for our starter, a bolognaise pasta for my beautiful date and I'll have a carbonara pasta for myself... plus we'll have two glasses of Trevini wine please," Aiden ordered dazzling the waitress slightly so that she wouldn't ask them for ID; he grinned as she nodded before he turned his attention back to Leah, who laughed as the waitress hurried away.
"You know we are both underage," Leah whispered making Aiden chuckle as he sipped on a glass of water; he didn't see the problem of having one small glass while they were on their date.
"It's not like she asked for Id," Aiden replied making Leah laugh softly and nod her head, it was only a glass and with her body temperature it wouldn't really affect her anyway.
Leah grinned as she watched him glad that she had said yes to the date since she felt a lot better now.
"So tell me about yourself?" Aiden said watching at his date; she was surprised that she didn't have a boyfriend or something.
"I'm doing an online physiology course," Leah revealed making Aiden nod his head, as he watched her making Leah blush as she dipped her head down while the waitress reappeared with their starter and their glasses of wine.
"What about you? Have you always wanted to be a teacher?" Leah asked as they both started on the baked Italian cheese and dipping breads; Aiden nodded his head as he popped some bread into his mouth.
"I don't know how to describe it... I've always been good with children; I used to watch my cousins mainly Wyatt and Chris when their parents were busy," Aiden said making Leah nod listening to him talk about his cousins; she smiled at how fond of them he seemed and she knew that this was something that she wanted herself in the future.
It had always been a dream of Leah's to have children and she had never thought that she would have any after she had become a wolf that it was possible.
Aiden was certainly the right man for her, he treated her in ways that she had never been treated by Sam and Leah was suddenly glad that her ex-boyfriend had dumped her for her cousin.

Leah smiled as Aiden helped her out of the car, the two of them walked up the path to her home in silence before they stopped outside the door; she couldn't believe how much fun that she'd had with him.
"Thank you for tonight, I had a great time," Leah said wrapping her arms around her, she blushed as she remembered that Aiden had given her, his jacket since it was chilly even if she didn't need it because of her wolf temperature.
Aiden nodded his head smiling at her, he hadn't expected their date to go so perfectly, he'd asked Amelia to scan the future several times to make sure tonight was perfect for Leah.
Aiden couldn't remember that last time that he had felt this nervous and he hadn't dated properly since he'd dropped out of high school and focused on the craft; he was almost glad that he hadn't had a normal time in school since it made him good with weird.
The front door to the Clearwater house opened revealing Sue Clearwater, who was far from pleased that her daughter was home late even if Leah was now twenty years old; she still worried for her.
Sue blinked confused to see that Leah was actually returning from a date with Aiden, she hadn't been sure what to believe when she had heard from Seth that her daughter had imprinted on the grandson of Andrea Matthews.
"Aiden, this is my mother, Sue... Mum, this is my date, Aiden," Leah introduced the pair; she could tell her mother was shocked that she was finally moving on from Sam, she had never thought that this would happen.
Sue had worried for her daughter since Emily had accepted that she was Sam's imprint, it had crossed her mind that Leah would forever be heartbroken.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Mrs Clearwater," Aiden greeted as Seth passed the front door, he paused before looking at his elder sister, who was blushing at being caught with Aiden by their mother.
"It's nice to meet you too Aiden," Sue said in awe looking between her daughter and the young man, she wasn't sure what to make of Leah dating again.
Leah had spent so long holding onto Sam and now she was back dating; Aiden cleared his throat before looking at his wrist watch.
"It was lovely to meet you... but I better be getting home," Aiden murmured nodding at his car, Sue stared at the Audi R8 surprised at the sight of the expensive car.
Leah smiled at Aiden as he walked down the path back towards the car, she was finally happy and it was all because of him.
