Lifting Aaron out of his car seat, Amelia stared up at the Cullens home and took a deep breath; she was thankful that Carlisle had agreed for them to use their home as a base for planning their move against the Source.

It was going to be difficult and Amelia was a little worried about what was coming, she peeked down at her son before heading towards the house.

Aiden had gone to pick their cousins up from the airport, he would be bringing them straight here while Alicia was finishing off something for school; it was strange to think that this was actually all happening right now.

Esme was at the door to greet Amelia, she smiled spotting the little boy in her arms and she knew that it was wonderful to see Amelia with her son.

Paul had been a little wary about having their five-month old son around the Cullens but he understood that it wasn't going to be easy to keep him away; especially if Amelia was going to be there a lot.

"We've set up the living room for the meeting," Esme said smiling, she loved being around children and she knew that she would have to be careful not to upset Paul.

Things were already tense enough for everyone especially with the knowledge that the Source had taken control of the Volturi; they didn't need any trouble building between them and they hoped that it would be sorted out soon.

Stepping into the living room, Amelia came to a complete stop as she stared at who was stood inside; Esme moved past her grinning before standing next to Carlisle knowing that they had done the right thing.

"What the hell are you all doing here?" Amelia asked shifting her hold on Aaron, she couldn't believe they had all come here and she didn't know what to say.

Carlisle wrapped an arm around his wife, he had been the one to suggest calling their friends from around the world to come and stand with them now; everyone was quick to agree knowing that the Source had to be stopped before it was too late.

"We came to help," Benjamin replied smiling at Amelia, there was already rumours building about what was happening in Volterra and no one liked what they were hearing; they couldn't let this evil take over the world.

Amelia opened and closed her mouth, she honestly didn't know what to say and she hadn't expected them all to show up; this could very well be the end of the world as they knew it.

"This is our world too... we have every reason to fight for it just like you do," Tanya said, she was sure that they would be much more successful if they worked as a team than allowing the witches to fall in battle on their own.

Everyone had heard the prophecy by now and they knew that there was a large chance that they could fail, they were going to take the battle to the Volturi's castle and there was an extremely large chance they wouldn't be able to get inside until it was too late.

"You know there is a chance we'll all be killed," Amelia told them, her eyes searching the group of thirty-one vampires knowing that they needed to know what could be lost here.

There was no guarantee that this would work and they would have to face the consequences if it didn't; Amelia peeked down at her son knowing that he would be remaining her no matter what happened.

Arrangements were being made to keep their families safe, there was a chance that if they failed the Source would target them to make sure that the line ended there.

Aaron was going to be staying with Jonathon since Paul was determined to make this trip with Amelia; he wasn't about to let her die and he wanted to help them all.

"He is so cute," Phoebe cooed stepping forward to gush over Aaron, it had been a long trip from San Francisco and she knew that there was so much for them to do before they could even relax.

Amelia nodded her head, carefully she handed Aaron over to Phoebe and turned to look at Aiden; they needed to talk and she hoped that he wouldn't get upset because more people wanted to help.

"We have a little more help than expected," Amelia murmured nodding into the living room, the vampires were all prepared for what was too come and Jacob was willing to back them like he had promised.

They had good numbers but that didn't mean it would be easy, they would be going up against the full Volturi and they were likely to lose numbers any way they looked at it.

Aiden peeked into the living room and sighed, he should have been expecting this and he wished that they could just let this be but the Source would destroy everything if they didn't stop him.

"This is a first," Piper murmured remembering every other time they had faced something like this the magical community often turned their back on them and they would be forced to deal with it alone.

This would mark the first time that anyone had actually wanted to help them, this was their world and they couldn't ignore the fact that this could all still go wrong.

Aiden looked to his sister, there was no point in denying that they didn't need the help; they were still hopelessly outnumbered and it was clear that they were all prepared for what would come next.

They would have to face the Volturi to get to the Source, it would be a battle that the magical world would never forget and it would change everything.

Alicia brushed some hair from her face as she sat down next to Amelia, her eyes swept the room and she felt nervous; she wondered how many people in the room would be coming back after the battle.

It worried her and she knew that there was some people that she would never see again, Alicia just hoped that their losses would be minimal and that they would have to face that in the end.

"Okay here's what we are going to do," Piper said getting to her feet, she was a little amazed by what her cousins had managed here and she was sure that it would all work out.

Looking around the room, Piper couldn't help but feel that something big was going to happen and she dreaded the moment that her feeling was revealed to be true.

Aiden sat down next to Leah, he knew that she wasn't happy to be left home alone while they all went to face the Volturi but she was eight weeks' pregnant right now and they had to think about their baby.

"We know this isn't going to be a walk in the park... but we are going to have to break into the Volturi's castle," Piper said walking over to the pictures of the castle that had been stuck to the wall for this meeting; she eyed it knowing that they had never really done this before.

It was no wonder that the Source had chosen Aro as his host-body, he had an advantage that was going to make this difficult for the them; he had an army protecting him right now.

"How the hell will we do that?" Siobhan asked, her red eyes staring at the witch wondering if she realised that it was impossible; they would all end up getting killed if they went for that plan.

The sound of someone entering the room made them all turn to stare at the two figures in black that had shown up; they seemed to freeze knowing that this couldn't be good.

"Maybe we could help you with that," Jane mused pulling down her hood and looking at her brother, she hoped they'd done the right thing.
