Brushing her fingers through her hair, Amelia grumbled to herself as she packed her bag for the trip to Italy; she couldn't believe that they were putting the final preparations to their trip.

It almost didn't feel real that they would be facing the Source so soon, Amelia had been trying to see the outcome of the battle but she couldn't; she couldn't see anything and that fact alone scared her.

"How are you feeling?" Leah asked stepping into the bedroom, she offered Amelia a small smile knowing that no one liked what was going to happen but it needed to be done.

They could not allow the Source to remain in this world, he was nothing more than to destroy the world as they all knew it and they couldn't allow that to happen.

"A little worried. You?" Amelia asked knowing that this couldn't be easy for Leah, she was going to be staying here and Amelia couldn't imagine how that felt.

It hadn't been an easy decision to make but Leah knew that she didn't have to just think about herself but her unborn child; she hadn't thought it was possible to get pregnant while she was a shifter but it had happened.

"Annoyed. I wish that I could help," Leah replied sitting down on Amelia's bed, she was still in the very early stages of pregnancy and she was enjoying every moment of it.

Leah couldn't help but pray that Aiden would be coming home to her, she knew that it was a dangerous mission but they would be able to live their lives freely when the Source was dealt with and the last mission completed.

They had so much planned and Leah couldn't wait to start living her life with Aiden, no more putting things on hold or delaying; they could only hope that it all worked out like they hoped.

"I can't believe how fast this is all going," Leah muttered with a shake of her head, she rested a hand on her bump knowing that this could all be over soon; she didn't know what would happen if they failed.

It was likely to end badly for everyone if they did, the Source would hunt the Matthews and Halliwells bloodline to extinction if he were to win to prevent the Power of Three from ever returning.

There was less than a month until the battle and everyone was starting to worry, they were going to have to sneak into Italy in small groups if they didn't want to raise suspicions.

"I know," Amelia replied with a shake of her head, it all seemed to fly-by and the first group was leaving that weekend; it was happening so quickly and everything had been planned out so that nothing could go wrong.

The two women were silent knowing that this could all go wrong even with everything planned out so carefully, the Source wasn't going to go down without a fight and he would destroy everything if he got the chance.

Hearing the door open, Leah and Amelia looked up and frowned seeing Paul there; he was meant to be at school even if he was set to miss quite a bit of it during a battle.

Leah looked at her pack brother and sighed, she could see that this was going to be a private conversation; she got to her feet knowing that she had to get home to Aiden anyway.

"I'll see you later," Leah said before leaving the couple alone, she smiled to Paul as she passed him knowing that they would be fine.

Amelia sat down on the bed, she watched her fiancé wondering what was going on; she knew he had been determined to finish school before all of this had kicked off.

"Paul is everything okay?" Amelia asked, she brushed some hair from her face wanting nothing more than to be honest with him; there was no point in them keeping secrets from one another.

There was already enough going on with them preparing for the battle of their lives, the last thing they needed was for trouble to start between them because they were keeping secrets from one another.

Paul sighed and moved to sit down on the bed, he had been doing a lot of thinking about the future while he had been in his first class and there was something that he wanted to do.

There was no way that they could ever know what was going to happen after the battle and Paul did know one thing, there was a very large chance that one of them might not come back.

"There something I want to do before we go to Italy," Paul said taking Amelia's hands, he had left school when it had become clear that there was something that they needed to do.

Of course everything had been planned out for that summer but there was no guarantee that they'd have that day and Paul just wanted to make this right.

Amelia watched him, she couldn't imagine what he had been thinking about and she couldn't help but hope that he wasn't about to ask her to stay here in La Push.

They would need the Power of Three to defeat the Source and Amelia wasn't going to let anyone else down, she was going to be there when they fought against the Source.

"I want you to be my wife before we go," Paul explained looking down at her engagement ring, it was short notice but he couldn't imagine her never being Amelia Lahote; he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her no matter how much longer they had.

Searching Paul's face, Amelia felt a small smile form on her face and she nodded her head; it felt right to do it like this and she was sure that everyone would be happy to agree.

Alicia sighed listening to her older sister explain that she and Paul wanted to get married in two weeks; they wanted to do so before they went to Italy unsure if they would come back at all.

It hurt to realise that things really were at stake here and Alicia couldn't help but feel that something was going to happen to someone that she loved; she couldn't help but wonder if it was her that would die.

Quietly leaving the room while Amelia and Leah talked about what would need to be done so that they could have the wedding that Amelia and Paul deserved.

No one said a word about the couple rushing their plans and Alicia guessed that she wasn't the only one that knew that people would die for this battle; there would be no escaping what was coming for them.

"Ali?" Embry murmured following after his girlfriend, he hated how quiet she had been recently and he wished that there was something that he could do.

Everyone was so busy and Embry knew that they were all worrying about the same thing, they would all be fighting for their lives when it came to this battle.

Those who had families who weren't in on the secret had told them that they were going on a trip that the Cullens were financing to Italy; it was a holiday for all that didn't know.

Tiffany had been so pleased and she had spent a lot of time giving Embry and Alicia tips and ideas about what they could do when they were in Italy.

Neither of them had the heart to tell her what was really going to happen and they knew it was better this way, Tiffany would forever be protected by the fact that she didn't know what was going on in her son's life.

"I can't shake the feeling something is going to happen," Alicia whispered with tears in her eyes, she wrapped her arms around Embry wishing that she could be strong like her sister; she just wanted things to be okay.

Embry whispered softly to her, he knew they were all scared but this had to be done before the Source could destroy them all.
