"Are you sure you don't want to wear my wedding dress?" Leah offered eyeing the shirt dress that her friend had in her hands with disgust; it just didn't seem right that she wouldn't have a special dress for today.
Pulling the wedding together at the last minute hadn't been easy and Amelia hadn't even had the chance to go and look at dresses because she had been so busy with battle plans.
"I'll be fine wearing this," Amelia replied with a shake of her head, she had riffled through her wardrobe until she had come across the shirt dress that had been inside.
Leah sighed wishing she had been more insistent about taking her friend to Port Angeles and finding her a lovely dress that she could wear; the white-nearly-grey dress that she was holding just didn't look right for Amelia.
"Like hell you will," Alice announced stalking into the bedroom with a dress bag in her arms, she had known this would happen and there was no way that she would allow Amelia to get married in that.
The Cullens had agreed to allow Paul and Amelia get married where Bella had, it was the easiest decision to make and the best venue that they could have at short notice.
Paul just wanted to marry Amelia, he didn't care about the where as long as she became Amelia Lahote; he was grateful to the Cullens for all their help right now.
Amelia turned to look at Alice, she eyed the dress bag wondering what it was and she hoped that it wasn't anything like what Bella had worn; that wasn't her style and she didn't want to waste money on something that she couldn't afford.
"I got you this," Alice said hanging the bag up, she grinned peeking over at Leah and Alicia who were waiting to get ready for the wedding; they would look lovely in their rusty red V-neck cap sleeves knee-length bridesmaid dresses.
Amelia opened her mouth to protest before Alice pulled down the zip to reveal the dress inside, it had taken her ages to find it and she was glad that she had; she was sure that Paul would be amazed when he saw Amelia in it.
Alice had been looking for something that Amelia might like when she had found out that she was engaged to Paul; there was no way she could have seen that they would bring their wedding forward.
However, Alice did understand why they were doing this and she couldn't blame them considering neither she or Amelia could see how this battle would work.
"It's beautiful," Amelia whispered admiring the white V-neck 3/4 sleeve length knee-length short wedding dress that Alice was presenting her with; she couldn't believe that Alice had managed to find a dress that she liked.
Of course, Amelia had looked a bridal magazines and such since she had gotten engaged but she had never really liked any of the dresses that she had seen in them.
Leah and Alicia smiled they couldn't believe that Amelia was speechless and they were grateful that Alice had shown up when she had; there was no way that Amelia could have gotten married in the dress that she had.
It wouldn't have been right or fair to her after everything that had happened, Amelia deserved a day that she would never forget.
Stepping forward to touch the soft lace of her new wedding dress, Amelia couldn't believe that Alice had gotten her a dress that she actually liked.
"Now let's get you all ready," Alice insisted knowing that there was so much to do and they couldn't keep the groom waiting; she wanted everything to be perfect for Amelia and Paul.
Nodding her head, a smile formed on Amelia's face and she couldn't believe that she was going to become Mrs Amelia Lahote in a couple of hours' time.
