The lampposts shone with an orange color as the people were walking on the sidewalk, most of them unbothered by the stores on the side. The girl wearing a black blazer with a red tie was one of them – just taking a stroll on the path opposite the middle road of a T-intersection. Her mind wasn't fixed on anything, for she was only getting a breath of fresh air.

"Steak and pork ribs! Steak and pork ribs! Get some over here!"

"Come on in for some fried noodles, perfect for a quick dinner!"

"We serve good-quality pizza in this place!"

The vendors were shouting to convince the customers to enter their restaurants, even though most of the passersby didn't pay much attention to them. The girl stopped and pondered for a moment, before buying a few pieces of meat from one of the vendors, eating it up and throwing the paper into a nearby trash bin. On her left, cars were going here and there, right underneath the sky of stars shining above. She took a look and admired the sight.

Suddenly, she felt a cold shiver run down her spine, and immediately deduced that someone was watching her from the left. It was as if someone was aiming a gun at her. She quickly cocked her head to that side and spotted a man squatting on a pole, only to quickly dodge a sniper bullet from that direction by jerking her body to the left. Some people noticed this and quickly ran, while others hurriedly hid.

She walked over to where the bullet landed, which was near a tree, and took a closer look at it as she pulled it out from the sidewalk. She had no time to get distracted, however, as she heard multiple footsteps approaching the place. Soon enough, a group of men came out and surrounded her, their guns and abilities ready to fire as soon as she made a move.

"We've got you now, kid. Should've known that doing all this vigilante stuff would only get you into trouble." the man in front of her said.

"..."

"Now come with us."

"...No."

The girl's voice was stern, as if she was actually a young businesswoman.

"If that's the case, then we'll-"

The girl threw the bullet in the air as the man spoke, and in numerous streaks of blue electric light, struck down all his members before returning to her position and catching the bullet. "Said anything else?"

The assailant, now looking pissed, threw his rifle behind him and cracked his knuckles.

"Sonar Punch: Sonar Wave."

He punched the air twice in the girl's direction. A wave of wind came about and she tried to block it, only to realize she did the wrong action. Gritting her teeth, she thought, "My ears... He's deafened me for long enough to knock me down."

The attacker quickly got behind her and was about to deliver a punch on her back, but she quickly noticed and leaped into the air, twirling around upside-down as blue sparks appeared underneath her, then dashed diagonally downwards and through the man's back.

"The same move she used to quickly take out my men..." he thought, "How does she quickly change her direction in midair? She's not even using her electricity to change her trajectory..?"

The assailant quickly broke out of his confusion and threw a punch at her, only to hit the floor instead as she quickly turned around. He blocked a quick punch from her, and felt electricity running down his body. Quickly releasing his grip, he leaped backwards. The girl ran forward and started dashing all around him, the same way she took down his men. Time seemed to slow for a moment, and he could see her quickly kicking the air to change her direction.

She finished her attack, and noticed that the man was still standing, even with electric wounds all over him. "Figured something out?" she asked.

He simply smiled upon seeing her poker face look back and threw out 3 Sonar punches before kicking the air. Instinctively, she covered her ears to block all of them, but unfortunately for her, she started feeling lightheaded, her brain ringing because of the waves sent out. She put her hand to her head, trying to neutralize the pain. The man dashed in next, and she could only widen her eyes in shock as he grabbed her and slammed her to the floor, beating her up afterward.

After the beatdown, the girl was feeling dizzy from the sonar waves emitted. He took out a small radio and spoke, "Finish her off."

A masked sniper was crouching atop a pole slightly wider than him, armed with a sniper in his hands. He conjured a magic bullet in the shape of a .50 Cal, put it in the sniper, and loaded it, ready for use. As he aimed at the girl, having been stunned, he couldn't help but feel a chill behind his back.

"Sir, something's wrong, I can feel it- aaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-"

Klein had kicked the sniper off the pole with no way to get down safely, quickly snagging the radio away from him as the sniper fell. He then said into the radio, "If you're attacking her, why are you asking your man to clean the mess?"

The man quickly realized something was wrong, and looked around, only to find a silhouette of a boy menacingly standing on the pole where his sniper was. He quickly dodged an attack from the girl, having fully healed himself, and threw out 2 punches before dashing away, shouting, "You'll never take me alive!"

"Not taking you alive?"

The girl got up and made a finger gun gesture at the man with her right hand and charged electricity on the end as her eyes started to glow in a cyan color.

"Then I'll take you dead."

BANG!

As if she fired a shot from a handgun, a loud thunderclap shook the entire intersection as a bolt of electricity hit the man, making him quickly collapse to the ground. She sighed before suddenly dropping to the ground, the people in hiding quickly running away from the scene as the sound of sirens got louder.

The soldiers lying on the ground started to regain consciousness, and one of them quickly picked up their gun before firing a shot. Instead of hitting, it was blocked by a wall made of blood.

"What the..!"

The soldier was quickly thrown back as Klein threw a punch at them. His hair had turned white, his eyes turned bright red, and he was visibly pissed at the soldiers for trying to hurt the girl.

"You alright?" he asked, stretching out a hand.

She grabbed it, pulled herself up, and said, "Yeah."

"Good. Jump."

She quickly leaped into the air with her electricity, only to find Klein unleashing a ridiculously powerful horizontal slice as if he was using a blood scythe. She couldn't help but wonder how many more destructive tricks were up his sleeve. Landing gracefully on the floor, she noticed a few cars and a white truck approaching. Upon further inspection, they were the police and the ambulance, quickly getting to the scene.

The girl walked forward, seemingly ready to confront them, when Klein put his hand in front of her and said, "I'll handle this."

As the police detained the soldiers on the floor, an officer walked up to the two and said, "Good evening kids, I believe this place isn't safe for you. Please head back."

"No questions?" Klein asked.

"No questions. Especially since it's already late."

He quickly glanced at the girl before continuing, "Aren't you going to be questioning me for injuring those guys?"

"Not at all," the officer said, shaking his head. "You two had a rough night dealing with these criminals. Get some rest and keep yourself out of trouble next time."

"...Alright sir. Thank you for your consideration."

He waved goodbye to the officer and looked back only to find the girl bowing and quickly leaving the scene in a flash of electricity. Without any hesitation, he started jogging in that direction, heading to Chris' house. Upon arriving, he opened the door, and was about to start looking everywhere when he noticed Chris sprawled over his bed, his formal attire replaced by casual clothes.

"Even a guy like him sleeps like this... Did he intend to open the windows for some air before running to the toilet?" he thought, closing the door behind him and walking to the closet, turning on the lights.
