Mirabel walked through town following the blue butterfly. It was guiding her towards the school house where kids were entering the small building. She saw the girl pacing by the door with her head down. Mirabel kneeled in front of her and as the girl looked up, she smiled.

"Hey Cecilia, what's wrong? You look like you don't want to go to class" Maribel asked

"I don't, they make fun of me because I'm dumb" Cecilia said

"Hey!! Don't say that, you are not dumb. You just have some trouble learning like everyone else. It doesn't make you dumb" Maribel

"But the others"

"The other kids don't know what they're talking about. Prove them wrong and show them how smart you are. Ask your teacher for help whenever you need it. Trust in yourself ok?? That's all" Maribel said then she raised the blue butterfly and made it spin around the girl.

Cecilia giggled as she twirled around following the butterfly. The small creature rested on Cecilia's head before turning yellow. This made Mirabel smile at Cecilia "Thank you Mirabel" the girl said hugging her "I'm gonna prove them wrong" she declared then ran inside the school.

A little later a red butterfly came towards Mirabel. She put her hand out and a small sphere of butterflies came to her hand. The image showed Luisa with a scowl on her face. Antonio next to her trying to say something then Luisa again looking around. She decided to investigate to see how she could help.

"Hey guys!! Luisa what's wrong??" Mirabel said once she got there

"These donkeys are hard to please, Antonio says that they keep getting out because there's greener and fresher grass outside the village. I keep looking for a spot with greener grass so Natalia can build the fence but I can't find any. I keep trying to keep them still but they're not helping" She says frustrated

"Donkey's are not very smart" Antonio whispers to Mirabel

"How did you know to come?" Luisa asked her little sister. Mirabel showed her the red butterfly "Oh"

"It guided me to you and here I am" Mirabel said "Sis you have to calm down or else I can't help you"

Luisa took a deep breath and relaxed her muscles. Her butterfly turned from red to yellow "Alright I'm calm"

Mirabel looked around examining the grass "I have an idea" she said then ran towards town. She returned with Isabella following behind.

"Hey, I hear you need help" Isabella said

"How can you help??" Luisa asked

"Flowers are not the only plants I can grow sis" she replied then got closer to the ground "the soil is a bit dry but I can work with that" she placed her hands on the ground and little by little grass started growing. The donkeys started walking towards it to eat "If we ask Tia Pepa to keep this side wet then the grass will keep growing. Either way, I'll keep coming to check on it and grow some more"

"Thanks Isa" Luisa said

"The donkeys say thanks too and they're happy about the grass" Antonio

Isabella smiled "I have to get back to my post, Fiona will go crazy if I leave for too long" she said

"Oh really?" Mirabel teased

"I'll tell you tonight" Isa said before running off

Two red butterflies started flying like crazy around Maribel "ugh, what now?" She grunted then the sphere floated in front of her. Antonio and Luisa looked surprised

"Wow you have gotten better at your gift every minute" Luisa praised

"Yeah I guess" Maribel said and looked at the sphere. The image showed her parents arguing with Alma "This is not good, gotta go"

Mirabel ran home and saw the scene unfolding "What's going on? The butterflies showed me you were angry.."

"It's nothing mi vida, nothing for you to worry about" Julieta said

"We're doing ok Miraboo" Agustin said

"Let's finish this discussion in the kitchen" Alma told them

As they walked away, Mirabel was determined to find out what was going on. She started to walk to the kitchen when casitas tiles started moving her back.

"Mariposa I don't think it's a good idea for you to be listening to this conversation" Casita said

"I'm in charge of the family's emotions, I have to know what's going so I can help fix it" Maribel said

"I don't think you can fix this corazón" casita said

"Either you let me pass or I use my butterflies to see what's happening" Maribel warned, casita had no choice but to let her pass.

She kneeled against the door so nobody inside could spot her and listened.

"Mamá you told us he would never come back into our lives" Julieta said

"I know, that's what he told me but I saw him earlier outside the village" Alma replied

"What if he takes her back and away from us?" Agustin said

"Agustin!!" Julieta scolded "She wouldn't want to go either, right mamá?"

"I don't think so but he is her father and Luisa is old enough to make her own decisions" Alma said

"But I'M her father, even if we are not blood, Julieta and I are still Luisa's parents. We have raised and loved her since the day that being left her with us" Agustin argued, Mirabel gasped quietly. She couldn't believe what she was hearing.

"Now that he's come, we have to tell the family the truth. We have to tell Luisa the truth about her biological parents and her powers" Alma said

"No!! Mamá she's only 18 years old. Imagine what that could do to her" Julieta said 

"But what if he comes into town and talks to her??" Alma asked

"He promised he wouldn't" Agustin said "Besides, Julieta is right and imagine finding this out could do to Isabella and Mirabel. They are starting to get closer to each other, this would devastate them"

Alma sighed "After what happened to us, I promised to do good for this family. I promised to be truthful from that point on. I think Luisa deserves to know casita only amplified her already existing strength and that she has more powers than just that. She deserves to know who her biological parents are. Now more since her father is here"

Mirabel was still behind the doorframe. She felt like crying from this revelation. Not being able to handle it anymore, she rushed to her room quietly.

Julieta and Agustin felt defeated "Give us a little more time" Agustín said, abuela nodded

"I want to talk to him" Julieta said
