Encanto: A New Start

New relationships

My apologies for the delay lovelies, I really don't know what else to write for this story so it will be ending soon. I hope this is good enough, enjoy!!

A month had past and Luisa was getting more aquainted with the ocean and her powers. Moana and Maui keep giving her all the advice she needs to keep control of it and more. They were happy for the time they get to spend with their daughter even if she doesn't see them as her parents. Moana was currently teaching her how to give her mind direction for when she's in the ocean.

Moana and Luisa were surrounded by water up to the waistline. Maui was circling around them from above as a hawk. Moana smiled and looked up, the water raising her into the sky just a little. "Ok sweetie, all you have to do is concentrate and do as I told you. See if you can get up to Maui and then come back down" she said

"Are you sure about this?" Luisa asked

"You already have a strong relationship with the ocean. All you have to do is guide it with your mind. You can do this, I believe in you. You have to believe in yourself" Moana said

Luisa nodded "Alright" she said with determination. She closed her eyes to gain focus then looked up. The water kept raising little by little and Luisa along with it.

Maui and Moana were smiling, Luisa kept her eyes on him. She kept getting closer until she got to his eye level "Yeeeeehooooo" Maui yell in celebration, making Luisa giggle "You did it Luisa" he said "Now, you're pretty high up. You need to tell the ocean to go down by diverting your eyes to the ground-" before Maui finished speaking, she did as instructed but the water moved to fast, leaving her in the air and then starting to fall.

"Daaaad, mom help me!!" She yelled, Maui reacted when the realization hit. He started to dive down, Moana on hearing Luisa's cry for help motioned the ocean to catch her mid air. She fell into a water bed and was able to relax.

Maui got to her and smiled "You did better than expected, hop on" he said turning around. Once Luisa was on him, he got safely to the beach.

Moana ran to them to hug them "Are you ok? Anything broken?" She asked exasperated

"No mom, I'm ok" Luisa said nervously

"You- you called me mom" Moana said

"And you called me dad earlier" Maui pointed out surprised

"Yeah, I guess it was the adrenaline" Luisa admitted "But that's who you are, you're my mom and dad. The people who gave birth to me. You have been wonderful this past month. I have been having a great time, plus I got to learn more about myself. It's nice to know where I come from and to learn how to expand my powers"

"It really means a lot that you're starting to be more accepting" Moana said, Luisa smiled "What do you want to do? Do you want to rest or try again?"

"I want to try again, I'm not one for giving up and I know I can do it" Luisa said determined

"That's our girl" Maui said

In Encanto

As time kept passing everyone kept doing the new routine. The family missed Luisa terribly but they kept on waiting. Isabella's relationship with Fiona was going great, the family was accepting. Mirabel was getting pretty good at her powers and the village was happy.

She was taking a walk into town looking at the people. Whenever a conflict sprouted, her butterflies told her. She saw a couple arguing, she blew a kiss in their direction and a swarm of butterflies surrounded them. They were sprinkling magic around them, next thing they knew, they were looking at each other lovingly. In another corner, a boy was sad for being excluded from playing. Mirabel pointed at the group of kids and they followed the creatures towards the lonely boy. The group felt bad and invited the boy to play which made him happy. Mirabel smiled to herself, proud the she could do something that helped people. Out of the corner or her eye, she spotted a blue butterfly again. She was surprised to find out who it belonged to. Natalia was sitting outside her father's shop, pouting and tears streaming down her face.

"Hey Nat, what's up?" Mirabel said approaching

"Nothing" the girl replied sadly

"I miss Luisa too you know?" Mirabel said sitting next to her

Natalia looked up "It's been 6 months Mira, do you really think she will come back?"

"She will, tio Bruno's vision said so and he's never wrong" Mirabel

"He hasn't had any that say when she'll come?" Natalia asked

Mirabel shook her head "It doesn't really work that way"

"I've been thinking a lot about mine and Luisa's relationship during this. Mirabel, even though we didn't get to spend time together these past few months, I really love her. I don't want to lose her or think that felt out of love for me" Natalia admitted

"You do?" Mirabel asked

Natalia smiled "Missing her has made me realize it and I do"

Mirabel hugs Natalia "I'm glad to hear that. And she will not fall out of love with you. I'm positive she loves you too. I mean, having a crush on you for years doesn't count for nothing"

"True, when she gets back, maybe we can even have the similar poetic type relationship Mariano and Dolores have" Natalia giggled

Mirabel chuckled "It will be another one of our miracles if you can beat that" she said, they both laughed. Mirabel saw Natalia's butterfly change to its normal color and sighed.

Natalia saw the butterfly "Thank you for making me feel better cuñada"

Mirabel shrugged "It's what I do" she smiled "I better go, there's more chores to do at casita. I don't want abuela to lash out at me again. Since Luisa's gone, she is kind of reverting to her old strict self" she said standing up

Natalia giggled "Then go"

Mirabel ran as fast as she could. The house was chaos and Alma was filling a little bit overwhelmed "Thank goodness you're back Mariposa. Alma is going crazy and needs your help" Pedro said in her head

"What in the world?" She exclaimed. Antonio's animals were everywhere, Augustin and Felix were organizing. Pepa was helping Julieta in the kitchen and Pepa was doing some cleaning. Isabella was beautifying the walls by Alma's directions. Dolores and Camilo were also doing some cleaning. The tiles of the house were moving nonstop since it was also helping the family. A lot of butterflies were moving around them in different colors

"Oh boy" she said. This whole house needed some work.
