Encanto: A New Start

First Date- Isabella

The next morning woke up on edge. Mirabel could tell there were a lot of emotions floating around the family. The most flustered was Luisa because of what she was going through. They sat at the table and Alma began to speak.

"There has been a lot going on in this family. The majority of the changes are good blessings. Some of the changes are bringing us uncertainty" she looked sadly at Luisa, everyone else followed. This caused the girl to shrink as she could on her chair "Whatever happens, we stick together as a family"

"Luisa, no matter what you decide, I want you to know that we love you. We accepted you as you are, always will. Creíamos que hacíamos lo mejor para ti mi vida" Julieta said to her, Agustin agreed.

Luisa gave a small smile in return with tears in her eyes "Thank you mamá, papá. I love you too" they hugged

"Abuela, mamá, papi I'm going out tonight. Mirabel is helping me finish my chores faster. I believe I already told you this" Isabella said trying to ease the tension

"You did and yes you can go out" Agustin said

Isabella looked at her sisters "come on" she said. Before Alma could speak, she pushed them out of their chairs and into town.

"So what's the plan?" Mirabel asked

"I already know what to wear, a green dress with different colored flowers" Isabella says

"Then what do you need our help with?" Luisa asks

"Ideas, I want to do something special but I have no idea what" Isa tells them, she and Luisa got to talking

Mirabel was looking around and saw a familiar curly golden hair on a bun. The cream color blouse and yellow skirt "Camilo" she called

Her cousin suddenly shrunk "It's Camila actually, while I'm like this" they whispered

"Sorry" Mirabel apologized "We're helping Isa with her date today, she wants to do something special and personal but doesn't know what. Want to help??"

"Oh I can" They said

Mirabel dragged her cousin to where her sisters were and after telling them the person was 'Camilo' but when they're shifted they're 'Camila', Mirabel proceeded in telling them the plan. After their chores, Isabella went with Camila and her sisters to the forest.

"Ok so how about this, you can guide her to a certain point where you can have something ready for her arrival" Camila suggests

"Yeah, like a picnic or a dinner. Something like that" Luisa added

"Fiona will love it" Mirabel said

Isabella was in thought for a few minutes then quickly took action. She ran through the forest, parting the trees to make a path. The others ran after her confused, at some point they stopped. Isabella grew a couple of vines and made a hammock with them. She decorates the tree trunks with different kinds of flowers and plants.

"Mira I thought a good way to guide her here was with butterflies. Can you help me with that?" Isabella asked

"Claro hermana" Mirabel said and closed her eyes to call on her butterflies. A swarm of them flew around them. Mirabel sprinkled magical dust on them and made them glow. This surprised the others while they were organizing the rest of the dinner. Mirabel directed the creatures one by one to the path and a few others around the trees.

"Mirabel te quedó magnífico" Camila said

"Thanks" she replied shyly

"Luisa can you help me with moving some rocks?? I'll tell you how" Isabella asked her sister

Luisa went and helped Isa while Camila and Mirabel still waiting in the middle of the room.

"I'm really proud of you Camila" Mirabel said "For having the courage to shape-shift in the way you feel more comfortable in"

"Thanks prima" They said

"Think about it, now we can have more girl fun" Mirabel teased making her cousin laugh

Isabella took out a picnic basket from the bushes and returned with Luisa to the other two siblings "You all better go, Fiona will be here any minute" they nodded and went out

A few minutes later Fiona walked into the forest. The second she saw the butterflies, immediately she knew where Isabella was. Fiona looked in surprise at her surroundings when she reached her destination. Isabella was standing in the middle of the room inside a circle of rocks shaped like a heart. She was holding a picnic basket. Behind her was a large size hammock.

"Surprise!" Isa said shyly

"Isa this is beautiful, you did this?" Fiona asked

"I had a little help from my sisters and one of my cousins" Isabella admits

"They seem to be very supportive then" Fiona said

"Yes they are, after what happened with casita, we've become really close" Isabella said "I got us a picnic basket" she signaled to the heart shaped rock and they walked to it. As they sat, Fiona couldn't keep her eyes off of Isabella. They ate and talked, once they were done, Isabella lifted them with vines up the hammock. They started gazing at the stars.

"Isa I know I'm far from perfect but I would like us to try something new together, if you'll have me" Fiona said looking at her

Isabella looked back and giggled "I'm not looking for perfect anymore. I want to feel the shiver of something new. I want something true, I want you" she said

They held hands and embraced each other into a hug. They stayed there watching the stars for a while until they had to say goodbye. Fiona walked Isabella home, once she entered casita, her two sisters were waiting for her on the stairs.

"So? How did it go?" Luisa asked

"Let's go to the kitchen" Isabella said "It went amazing and I think we're dating now" she sighed happily, they all smiled excited

They sat at the dining table "She better not hurt you or casita is gonna drop on her" Mirabel said, she frowned "Abuelo's words, not mine" Mirabel giggled

Isabella giggled and put his hand on the floor tiles "Don't worry abuelo, I'll be careful" the tiles began moving in response

"I'm with him sis" Luisa said "I'm still happy for you though" they all smiled

"Thanks Luisa, but I'm not all happy. I still have you to worry about little sister" Isa said "Have you figured out what to do?" She asked

Luisa frowned "I still want to think about it a little more but I think I'll leave" she said
