Back in 8th grade, Me and my bud Harry were sitting in the last bench and all I did was yawn once and this teacher who was facing the board and writing the notes was able to quickly figure out who it was. She told me to stand up.

"Is my class so boring that you feel sleepy!"

In my mind I'm like, all I did was yawn once while there are many in the back literally sleeping while hiding behind the textbook.

And for this I was punished to, "Stand and stay like that for the rest of the class."

Once she says anything, Its final. I stood and remained like that for the rest of the class while Harry irritated me with his silent giggles.

This time she told that since it was the special class's first day......,

We expected "It's a free class."

But she goes "We'll start of with chapter one, take out your textbooks and notebook."

One class goes for 45 minutes plus today was a full day and the only good thing was the last four PE periods.

But during her class it feels like even the time has stopped. She was going on telling about photosynthesis, cuticles blah blah blah.

In the middle of Miss Sophia's class, the high school floor head came to our door and called to miss Sophia.

After their conversation Miss Sophia's face looked like her energy was totally sucked out.

She asked us to close our books and announced,

"Today will be a half day so your upcoming four classes will be PE."

The whole class said "Ok Ma'am" waited for the teacher to leave the class, closed the door.

After a pause of five seconds they all started screaming and jumping around the whole class ,Me on the other side just grouped up with my friends and used our precious time to decide which sport we'd play. We all came to the decision of playing cricket and planned to decide teams at the ground.

On the way to the bus we spotted the shut down pool of our school as the school was constructing a new floor for the high school students, this was the reason why they made the special classes half day.

Seeing the pool reminded me of the first day I learnt swimming, it was not long back though, I learnt to swim during 9th when I was 14 years old and I'm definitely not proud of it. Reason why it took too long was because I drowned in the shallow side in 3rd grade, since then I've feared the water.

On my first day at the pool in 9th grade, Me and Patrick decided to give it a try, we entered and as we were heading to the PE teacher we saw a sight which would be considered a nightmare for people scared of water like me.

Stuart, a new student like us, was asking the Sir at the pool(His name was Diego but we didn't know it then)

"How deep is this end of the pool?" asked Stuart to that sir

That point which was considered the deepest point of the pool was where he asked this question.

"How deep? I dunno! Go find it out" said sir as he pushed him into the pool.

Luckily it was the side close to the ladder plus as he knew how to swim so he didn't drown. I came to the pool thinking we were free to do anything but seeing this gave me second thoughts.

Before we could turn back and run the sir spotted us and asked us if we knew how to swim. We knew this question would be asked and we had planned to say "Yes" if this was asked, but after seeing something few minutes back I thought to myself "Your life or your pride."

I choose life and replied to sir "No, I cant swim" even Patrick nodded his head to say he was the same as me, Sir did laugh a little as he realized that there are high school students who cant swim but he did teach us after that and at present I can swim due to that sir. End of dramatic flashback.

"Hey fools! Get into the bus already, what are you all doing outside?" yelled Karter as the other 10th graders came walking towards the bus with the pace of a snail.

Well all got into the bus at last and were finally headed to the ground.....
