Chapter 15

Error's P.O.V

I was listening to Dream as he talks about one of his many trips around the multiverse when all of a sudden, he let out a sudden gasped as he clutched his chest and his face turned into a mix of sorrow, pain, and confusion. As if he's unsure if he should be crying or not.

"Ink..." I heard him mumble out as I almost immediately crash from the sound of the squids name. "₩h@+?" I softly ask him, not entirely sure if I heard him right. "It's Ink...he...he needs my help. He needs me right now!" Dream said slightly panicking as he quickly got up and gave me a desperate look.

"Please Error, I know this is alot to ask you so suddenly, but please let me return to the Star Base." He pleads to me "₩h@+?!? ₩hy?! ₩h¥ $h0uld 1 l3+ ¥0u l3@v3?!" I demanded, getting more and more upset.

"Because I need to help everyone! Not just Ink. As much as I enjoy my time here with you Error, I stayed here for far too long and I need to return to the Star Base to continue doing my job as the Gaurdian of Positivity. " Dream tries to reason with me but his voice was drowned out by those voices.

'He never cared about you.'

'He wants to leave you'

'The only reason he stayed was because he was forced to.'

'You were never his 'friend'.'

'He was using you.'

'He was leading you on.'

'And now once he leaves.....'

"1'M N0+ L3++1N9 ¥0U L3@V3 M3!!" I shouted as thousands of strings went towards Dream. Dream let's out a yelp of surprise as he immediately dodges all of them. I growled in irritation as I sent more strings his way as he barely manages to dodge them.

"Please listen to me Error, I don't want to fight you." Dream pleadingly said as he continues to avoid my strings. "1F ¥0U ₩@N+ +0 L3@V3 $0 B@DL¥ +H3N ¥0U H@V3 +0 F19H+ M3!" I yelled as I summoned several bones and directed them towards him.

Dream manages to dodge them all on time, however, one of the bones manage to nick his cheek. "Error, you need to understand that I am needed elsewhere, that other people in other AU's need my help." He said once more. "₩3LL ₩H@+ 1F 1 N33D ¥0U?!" I shouted as I felt something wet fall on my face. Dream froze as he stared at me, unsure how to respond.

"What did you said?" He ask me, his voice barley above a whisper as he looked at me in shock. "₩-₩h@+ 1f 1 n33d ¥0u? ₩h@+ 1f ¥0u'r3 +h3 f1r$+ r3@l fr13nd 1 3v3r h@d? ₩h@+ 1f 1 ₩@n+ +0 k33p ¥0u h3r3 b¥ m¥ $1d3 @nd n3v3r l3+ ¥0u 90? ₩h@+ 1f 1..." I hesitated before taking a deep breath and continuing.

"₩h@+ 1f 1 l0-" before I could finish my sentence, I felt a sudden weight on me as I felt a pair of arms wrapped around my waist "I won't leave you Error...I promise." I heard Dream faintly said. I slightly glitchd a bit from the sudden contact but for the very first time, I didn't end up crashing from my haphephobia.

With slight hesitance, I slowly huge Dream back as I soke up the embrace. Feeling cared, protective, safe, warm, and loved for the very first time. We stood there embracing eachothers warmth for a couple minutes before Dream broke the huge and I reluctantly let go. "Error, I'm sorry I made you feel this way but I can't stay with you in the Anti-Void forever. My duty as a Star Sans is to protect all AU's and my role as the Gaurdian of Positivity is to look after, protect, and spread as much positive feelings as I can. Even if I wanted to, I can't just drop everything and stay with you." Dream said sadly.

I gave out a frown but nodded in understanding as I snapped my fingers and a familiar golden soul made its way between us. "+h3n 1'm gu3$$1n9 ¥0u ₩0uld ₩@n+ +h1$ b@ck." I said softly as the strings slowly unravel themselves from the soul as the soul itself glowed brightly and placed itself in Dream's chest. Dream gave out a small gasp as his bones glowed a golden yellow as his eyelights widen and seem to become brighter with magic.

As the glow reseded, Dream looked over at himself in amazement but slightly confused "What happened?" He ask as he looked at me, eyes filled with wonder. I gave out a warm chuckle as I felt heat spreading on my cheeks "1+ ₩@$ ¥0ur b0d¥ 93++1n9 u$3d +0 ¥0ur $0ul @9@1n @f+3r b31n9 $3p3t@+3d f0r $0 l0n9." I said with a small smile "Really?" Dream said slightly in awe.

'Cu+3,' I thought as my blush darkens a bit "@n¥₩@¥$," I coughed and avoided eye contact for a bit "¥0u $h0uld 93+ 901n9 b3f0r3 ¥0ur fr13nd$ fr3@k 0u+ 3v3n m0r3." I said with a huff "O-oh, right." Dream said sheepishly as he created a portal "Oh, and Error?" Dream called out "₩h@+ 1$ 1+?" I ask him "I'll make sure to visit you as much as I can." He said with a smile before going through the portal.

I stood there in void as I finally processe what he said before blushing and attempted to hide it with my scarf. "₩h@+3v3r," I huffed as I sat on my bean bag chair and started to watch UnderNovela.
