Chapter 30

Dream's P.O.V

"Ever since then, I-I stopped calling him my brother." I said as I wiped away a few tears "N-not that I don't love him anymore. In fact it's quite the opposite really." I told him as I hesitantly grabbed my cape for comfort.

"Every day it saddens me a little to see him the way he is right now. Every day it hurts a little more to fight him for the safety of the people. Every day I can't help but wish to have my beloved brother back, to hear him genuinely call me his brother one more time." I said as I started crying once more as Error gave me sympathetic look.

"The reason I stopped because every time I've called him my brother, he only seemed to get angrier and his outburst proved that. So if me calling him Nightmare makes him a little less upset, then I'll gladly do so because I just want my brother to be happy. Even if it's only for a moment." I said with a sad smile.

Error was silent for a bit before he hesitantly pulled me towards his chest "¥0ur h0n3$+l¥ +00 n1c3 Dr3@m," he says as I let out a dry chuckle "That's what everyone keeps telling me." I sighed as I leaned against Error as he frowns in response "+h@+$ n0+ n3c3$$@r1ll¥ @ b@d +h1n9, 1+ ju$+ m3@n$ +h@+ ¥0u t3nd +0 c@r3 @ l0+ m0r3 +h3n m0$+ hUm@n$ @nd m0n$+3r$."

He said as he gently tighten his grip on me "B3$1d3$, 1 f1nd 1+ m0r3 @dm1r@bl3 +h3n @n¥+h1n9." He said as I gave him a curious look "Oh? And why's that?" I ask him as he gave me an 'are you seriouse look'. "Dr3@m, y0u @r3 +h3 m0$+ k1ndn3$$ m0n$+3r 1'v3 3v3r m3t. ¥0u $33 +h3 900d 1n p30pl3 @nd m0n$+3r$ @l1k3 ₩h3n n0 0n3 3l$3 d03$ @nd d0 ¥0ur @b$0lu+3 b3$+ +0 und3r$+@nd @nd h3lp +h3m." He told me as I blush in embarrassment.

"Y-you think so?" I said sheepishly "Dr3@m, 1 @m +h3 l1v1n9 pr00f 0f +h@+ $+@+m3n+." Error said firmly as my blush tremendously darkens when his emotions revealed that he was telling the truth. Yet despite that, I couldn't help but have the feeling of doubt at the corner of my mind.

Error let's out a soft sigh as he moves me closer to his chest as his grip was gentle yet comforting. I felt my soul flutter and my cheeks heat up a little as Error places his chin on top of my skull.

"Dr3@m, 1 d0n'+ 3v3n kn0₩ ₩h¥ ¥0u d0ub+ ¥0ur3$3lf 1n +h3 f1r$+ pl@c3." He started, his voice full of care "¥0ur @ 900d m0n$+3r ₩1+h @ pUr3 $0ul. 1f 1+ ₩@$n'+ f0r ¥0u, 1 ₩0uLd n3v3r kn3₩ ₩h@+ 1+ f3l+ l1k3 +0 b3...." he suddenly hesitates as he glitches a bit more and his skull burns into a dark blue.

My eyesockets widen as a certain emotion was more prominent than the others as I turn to look at him and my soul beats in anticipation, but...I wanted to hear him say it first before I jumped into conclusions.

"1-1-1n," he stutters as he glitches even more as I gently grabbed his hand and gave it a comforting squeeze. He looked down at me as I gave him a warm smile that darken his blush as he takes a deep breath "1n....1n l0v3 ₩1+h ¥0u." He says quietly as he buries his skull into his scarf and steam could be seen coming out from it.

I felt my face flush into a bright gold as my soul pounds with pure happiness "I...I love you too Error." I confessed shyly. Despite me being the Gaurdian of Positivity and having dozens of people who've confessed to me. Not once in my 221 years in this multiverse(not including the 500 years I spent as a statue) have I ever fallen in love with someone.

In fact, I thought I would always end up playing solo in my love life. Yet here I am, in Errors arms, confessing our feelings to each other. It feels too good to be true to be honest.

Error's eyes widen as he looks at me with disbelief and hope "R-r3@ll¥?" He asks as I giggle and nodded in response. I warmly smile at him as I turn to fully face him and gave him a gentle kiss. Error glitches as his skull was covered in blush as he slowly kisses back.

Our souls beat in harmony as the world around us seemed to disappeared, leaving just me, Error, and this moment. And honestly, I'll have it no other way.

We gently broke the kiss as our eyes gaze at each other with love, care, & passion for one another. "D03$-d03$ +h1$ m3@n ₩3'r3 d@+1n9?" Error asks sheepishly as I let out a light laugh "I mean, if you want to." I said as Error blushes but nods in response "1 ₩0uld l1k3 +h@+ @l0+." He said as he shyly looks away.

I fondly smile at Error as I turn my attention back to the stars as I layed my head against his chest. I felt Errors soul hum with happiness as he wrapped his arms around me in a loving matter.

We spent the rest of the day star gazing as the atmosphere around us was warm and complete. As we both found ourselves in complete bliss in each others arms.

If someone told me a year ago that I was going to fall in love with the God of Destruction, I would've looked at them weirdly and kindly walked away. Yet here I am in his arms, admiring the stars together, and honestly, there is no other place I rather be then here at this very moment.
