Hope POV

Today was the day of me and Josie's trip to New York.

I wouldn't have to do this stupid trip if it wasn't for cece.

I mean if she would have never told anybody about the whole murder thing I could have gotten a pi.

When I woke up I was embraced with maya in my arms.

"I have to get up babe" I said

"Already?" She asked

"Yes, I have to go on a important business trip" I said

"And you are just telling me about this now?" She asked

"Yes" I said

"Why?" She asked as she sat up.

" because I just found out about this trip like last night" I say

"And how long this trip is for?" She asked

I then got up and rubbed my hand through my hair.

"2 months" I said

"2 months?" She asked

"I can't go that long without seeing you hope" she says

"The months will go by fast. I promise" I said as I got up off the bed.

"Okay fine. But you have to call me every day." She says

"I will" I said

"I love you" she says as she got up to stand next to me.

I kissed her forehead.

"I'm going to shower" I said before heading into the shower.

Josie POV

"Why do you put everything on me?" I asked my dad.

"What do you mean?" He asked

"Every time I say something. Or even if I do something you always hold it against me yet you don't hold nothing against Lizzie" I said

"Because she doesn't do anything wrong" he says

"Of course she doesn't, she does nothing in your eyes... when I announce that I was pansexual you wished me to die... when Lizzie announced that she might be into girls you praised her with every bone in your body" I said

He didn't say anything he just flipped through the newspaper.

"You know what. Fuck you! And I hope you get what you deserve because after this 6 months of hell just best believe I won't be living with you but instead I will live with my mother" I said

"Couldn't be more happier" he says still not looking at me.

I scoffed.

"You should go pick up Hope" he says

"Don't she have a car?" I asked

"You two need to ride in the car together and get there before the plane leaves." He says

"And what about where we are going to stay when we get there ?" I asked

"I have this house out there, when you get into New York there will be this person to direct you to the place and then you and Hope can start the lead" he says

"Why do you care so much about 100,000 dollars? You have all the money there possible is" I said

"Because he owns me and he will pay" my father says now turning his attention to me.

I just rolled my eyes and walked out.

I was going to buy some clothes in New York because I don't feel like packing right now.
