Josie POV

My dad had said some bullshit last night and I got pissed but today... today he said that me and Hope will have to go on a trip to Delaware.... I know nothing of the state nor do I want to know about it yet we have to go there.

I feel like I have heard the place mentioned along the walls before.

[hope:] hey sunshine... hope you are up because I'm taking you on a date..

I smiled.

[me:] that sounds like a demand and I thought you are going to get back with that maya girl.

I then but the bottom of my lip nervously.

[hope:] maya who? :)

I smiled again.

[me:] what are we going today?

[hope:] we are going to take a tour around the city.

[me:] I already been around the city.

[hope:] sure you have but have you seen my favorite places? I heard that mixing your favorite things with your favorite people surely brings comfort. :)

Lizzie then started calling me.

I answered.

"Hey Lizzie" I said

"What do you know about Hayley Marshall?" She asked

"Damn.. no hello? Straight to the point? Well can't really get straight to the point when-"

"Focus Josie... what do you know about Hayley Marshall?" She asked

"I don't even know who that is..." I said

"Hopes mother. Did she never talk about her with you?" She asked

She has but I didn't remember that name.

"She has, I only know she died when Hope was 3.. Hope doesn't know much of her either.. there's some pictures around though" I said

"Great, I need you to find a picture and send it to me..." she says

"What are you talking about? What are you doing Lizzie?" I asked

"Yes, what is she doing?" I heard a familiar voice say

I turned around to face the door way.

"She's preparing for her recital." I said

"By asking about Hayley Marshall who was found dead 17 years ago?" He asked

"Lizzie can I call you back?" I asked

"As soon as you can" she says before hanging up.

"What do you have your sister doing?" My dad asked

"I don't have her doing anything, she just called and asked about Hayley Marshall" I said

"She must have been lying to me when she said she was going to some bullshit thing... I have things to take care of but I want you back at home by 3" he says

"But I have something to do" I said

"You will be back here.. understand?" He asked

I scoffed.

I bawled my fist up

"I—I understand dick head" I said before pushing pass him.

I hate him... I hate him so much that I want to kill him.
