 I had so much fun shopping and I loved how Jaxon blushed when I was holding the black lace set in Victoria's Secret. It was cute. I have never bought so much stuff before. I bought Rylie and Kay a bunch of stuff too. We definitely needed the guard's trunk space. When we got back to the palace, some of the staff helped us take our bags in. It was close to dinner by the time I got everything put away. I decided to change into a pair of white jeans that had criss-cross patterns on the sides all the way up to the top of the jeans, surprisingly you couldn't see my panties through them. I paired it with a tight, pink tank top that showed a lot of cleavage. I kind of can't wait to see Jaxon's reaction. I don't know why I like the way he reacts to me.

'Because it makes us feel good. And I bet he's going to drool when he sees us because, damn, we look sexy.' She did have a point. And we never really wore stuff like this with Corbyn. I threw my medium-sized hoop earrings in, brushed my hair; I hope my parents like my hair. One more look in the mirror and I was out the door. Everyone was already in the dining room. When I walked in I heard a couple of gasps and then an excited squeal from my mom as she came running up to me.

"Your hair! Oh my goddess, you look so beautiful. I mean, you were with the pink hair too. I just never got to see you with your natural hair color." She rambled.

"It's okay mom. Thank you." I walked over and sat in the seat next to Jaxon like I did at breakfast. When I walked towards him, I noticed as his eyes looked me up and down. I played it off like I didn't see it.

"I take it you guys had fun today?" Sofia asked. We all said yeah. We all sat around and talked while we ate.

"Do you guys want to go hang out down at the common room with the others?" I asked. I got a round of "sure" and I smiled. I want to get to know people. Bother sets of parents kept looking at me and Jaxon as we talked, and all four of them had on the cheesiest smiles. I think they are hoping something happens with us.

'I'm not opposed to the idea.' Aurora purred. I mean I like him and how I feel around him but is it too fast? Am I using him to numb my pain? 'You're thinking too much, remember, we are going with the flow.'

'You're right. Whatever happens, happens.'

We all walked to the common room. Ezra and Jaxon asked what we wanted to drink so they could get our drinks while we found a table near the pool tables. It didn't go unnoticed by me at how the guys looked at me as I walked by. I also noticed Corbyn and his new friends were in the back corner. I didn't pay attention to them. The guys brought our drinks and we started drinking. We were laughing and having a good time. I was sitting between Jaxon and Ezra.

"So, I wanted to give you your birthday present tonight. If that's okay?" Jaxon turned to me.

"Of course it's okay, but you didn't have to get me anything." I smiled at him.

"I know, but I wanted to." He handed me the gift. I unwrapped it to see it's the velvet box that signals it is jewelry. I opened the box and gasped. Inside it was a white gold heart with diamonds on one side and a rose gold rose going through the middle of the heart, and it was on a rose gold chain. I looked up at Jaxon.

"Goddess, Jaxon. This is beautiful." I pulled it out. "Will you help me put it on?" I asked him. He took the necklace and I pulled my hair to the side, he put the necklace on my but let his fingers linger on the nape of my neck. I tried and failed at stopping the shiver. I looked at of my family, Gen included, and they all had smiles. I turned towards Jaxon. "Thank you Jax, I love it!" I kissed his cheek. We all ignored the grumbling from the back of the room.
