He looks at her surprised as she's standing in front of her apartment door. He hadn't seen Amelia since the hospital and that was 3 days ago.

Thanks for holding onto it.

No problem.

See you in a couple weeks?

Yes. Call me when you're free, A.

Amelia was so into her own world that she hadn't heard the heavy footsteps nor Bucky calling her name.

"Amelia?"

She jumps startled to see him standing there. Close. She scans his face to see that he still had the stitches in place and the wound had closed.

"Hi James," Amelia say awkwardly.

"How are you?" He asks shyly.

She couldn't help but smile at his sudden shyness.

What happened to him being an asshole?

She can't help but chuckle at her own thought. "Good. And yourself?"

"Fine."

She slowly unlocks and opens her apartment door. His gaze falls on it.

"That's good to know. How's Yori? I haven't gone to see him yet."

"He's good. Fighting with some of the neighbors."

Amelia can't help but laugh at his answer as she can actually imagine what he said.

"Sounds like him. Do you want to come inside?"

Bucky can feel his cheeks grow hot and he knew that it was evident. Why is she inviting me inside?

"So I can remove your stitches? I mean it looks like the wound closed and you haven't taken them out yourself yet," She clarifies as if she knows what he's thinking.

Bucky snaps out of his thoughts. He clears his throat loudly and nods. "Make yourself comfortable."

Bucky slowly walks into her apartment and this time he really takes his time to look over it. It looks homey but at the same time it doesn't. He comes across a photo of what he can only assume is her mother, father and a small Amelia.

Again, he can feel the corner of his lips curve up as he sees the cute smile of hers. Amelia shouts from her room.

"I hope the ointment helped you!"

"Yeah, it did."

"Are you in a rush?"

Amelia poked her head from her room to look at him.

Bucky looks at the digital clock on the wall and shakes his head. "No, why?"

"Do you mind if I hop in the shower before I remove your stitches? I really feel icky."

"Uh sure."

"I'm sure there's some beer in the fridge if you want to grab some. I shouldn't be long."

Bucky watches her disappear back into the room.

"Unless you want to come back later?" She say as she pop her head back out.

"I don't mind waiting."

Amelia just nods and heads back into her bedroom. He remains still until he is able to hear the shower run. He cautiously makes his way to the kitchen to grab water.

He stands there for a while unsure what to do. He can't help but continue to make his way through the semi-large living room. Taking in everything but he sees the picture of Amelia and an older man. He slowly takes the photo in his hand and looks at it. It looked like it may have been taken a couple years ago.
