Amelia locks her apartment door and before she gets the chance to take a step, Bucky is in front of her. He stares down at her as she meets his gaze. Amelia takes a step back and smiles, any negativity from yesterday gone.

I think I just needed a 12 hour nap, she thought.

True to her word, after a much needed relaxed bath, she was out. Cold.

"Morning neighbor," she smiles.

Bucky is quick to notice her mood change from last night and his lips form up. "Morning."

"You're up early."

"Yeah, I couldn't really sleep anymore."

"Oh. I'm sorry about that."

"I'm used to it. Anyways, I actually was hoping to run into you."

"Oh?" She looks at him surprised and shocked.

"I was, uh wondering if you wanted to get breakfast. My uh treat," Bucky scratches the back of his head.

She feels her cheeks heat up as she watches his arm flex behind his head, looking shy. A part of her wants to go and spend sometime with her neighbor. Then she feels her phone vibrate in her pant pocket.

She takes it out and see it's a message.

He's waiting for you.

On my way!

She places it back into her pocket and lets out a breath.

"I really wish I could Bucky..."

"But you have other plans." Bucky confirms.

"I do. Maybe another time?" Her voice hopeful.

"How about dinner?"

"Yeah I think that should be fine."

"Where do you want to meet?"

She feels her phone vibrate once more and she knows that she's running late.

"Let me see your phone," she outstretches her hand.

Bucky slides his hand into his pants pocket and takes out his phone, placing it in hers. Amelia looks at the flip phone he placed in her hand with amusement. She twirls the phone in her hand, and she can't help let out a giggle.

Bucky looks at her wide eye at the sound of her giggle.

"You really do surprise me Bucky. A flip phone?"

He watches her flip it open and dial something in. Her fingers pressing against the phones keypad. After she watches her number save, she hands him back his flip phone.

"There. You now have my number. Just text me the place you want to go too and I'll meet you there," she smiles.

Bucky looks back at her with a smile, "Okay. I'll see you later."

"See ya Bucky."

Bucky watches her retrieve onto the elevator until she disappear from his gaze. He looks down at his phone, as he searches for her name and quickly finds it.

Then his mood changes when his phone light up with the CALLER ID.

Sam Wilson.
