7 months later...

Bucky stared at the paper in front of him, lost in his own thoughts. He hasn't been able to sleep much from waking up in the middle of the night to feed or change his little girl's diapers.

He's pull out of his thoughts when he hears Hope cry from the nursery room. He gets up from his seat and makes his way over to her. When he steps in, he finds her sitting in her crib with tears in her eyes. When she sees him, her face lightens up.

A smile forms on her little lips and it warms his heart.

"Hi baby girl," Bucky says softly.

He makes his way over to her and picks her up. "How was your nap?"

He's met with gibberish and a smile forms onto his lips at her. "I'm guessing good."

He cradled her head with his hand and kisses her head and he takes a deep breath.

"Come on. Lets get you bathed, dressed and fed okay?"

He lightly bounces her and she lets out a small giggle.

"Yeah, let's go do that. We need to go meet up with mommy," Bucky smiles before kissing her cheek.

When Bucky steps out into the living room, he finds Sam there. "Hey man. When'd you get here?"

"Not that long, I changed my flight a little earlier to spend some time with you guys. How you doing?"

"Fine, got Hope dressed. We're going to go see Amelia. But I need to feed her, if not she'll be fussy."

"I can help you with that. While you go get dressed and ready."

"Thanks I appreciate it."

Bucky hands him Hope and she happily goes with him.

"How's my sunshine doing? You hungry? Hmm? Lets get some food inside your little tummy," Sam says as he tickles her.

Bucky ear drums are filled with her adorable giggles as he heads to his and Amelia's room. He steps into the shower and allows the water to rinse his thoughts and tiredness away.

Bucky steps out to find Hope in her high chair with Sam feeding her banana. Her favorite thing to eat. A smile forms on his lips.

Bucky opens the refrigerator and takes out the packet of strawberries and a mango out. He moves to wash the strawberries before eating a few. He then proceeds to place the strawberries into a container and then inside the diaper bag.

Sam watches as he peels the mango before slicing them. They're Amelia's favorite fruit. He does the same with the mango before placing them in the diaper bug.

Bucky goes to pick up a large blanket and folds it. After he gets what he needs for later ready, he moves to grab Hope's car seat.

Sam picks up Hope and takes her to her dad. Bucky happily takes her before showering her face with kisses.

"Say thank you to your soon to be godfather," Bucky says.

Sam is met with gibberish which warms his heart. Bucky smiles at her attempt and places her into the car seat. He hands her the teddy bear that his wife hand sewed for her.

"Here," Sam places a key in his hand. "The house is now yours guys'. The realtor handed me them before I came out," Sam smiles.

"It's fixed up already. Ready for you guys to move in. Sarah and I took care of Hope's room. Packed it with the things she will need."

"Thanks Sam, I appreciate it."

"You gonna tell Amelia?"

"Of course. We're surprising her with a picnic lunch. It's our anniversary present to her, I know she'll be happy. She always wanted us to buy it, especially after we found out about Hope. It's going to be her second home for when we go visit," Bucky smiles.
