3 - Secret

-Celestiana's POV-

We all went up to our rooms after dinner so that we could relax together. It's been a long, exhausting, and enjoyable day. We are once again a full family after a long time. Since Tine's room is next to mine and I am currently upstairs, I decided to ask her for some toothpaste since I was ready to brush my teeth but realized I didn't have any in my cupboard and I didn't want to get out of bed to walk downstairs. When I knocked on her door, she opened it, let me inside, and instructed me to get some in the restroom while she worked on her laptop. The layout of her bathroom surprised me; I didn't know where her toothpaste supply was kept because it was unusual. To be fair to my sister, she is good at choosing home furnishings. I was looking through every basket, organizer, and drawer in her bathroom for her toothpaste supply. I finally discovered this toothpaste after a century of looking for it. I was about to leave the room when something from her trash can caught my attention. It turned out to be a pregnancy test that was positive.

"Tine's pregnant?" I said in my head

"This can't be, baka sa friend nya lang to, No, No, No." I said to myself trying to calm me down

Hindi ko alam kung anong nararamdaman ko that time kaya naman imbis na konprontahin si Tine ay kinuha ko nalang yung pregnancy test at inilagay eto sa bulsa ko. Nagpasalamat at Nagpaalam na ako kay Tine na babalik na ako ng kwarto ko. She gave me a thumbs up while looking at her laptop. I left her room and walked straight to my room, finished my bedtime rituals, and sat on my bed. I decided to simply tell my sisters everything I saw in the morning. Without a doubt, magagalit sina Ate sa kanya, sana lang talaga eh hindi kay Celestine to.

-Celestine's POV-

I was in the process of finishing something on my laptop when Ate Celestiana called and requested some toothpaste, so I simply told her to go get some in my bathroom. 15 minutes na sya sa cr ko at hindi parin lumabas, di ko na pinansin kase nagpabago nga pala ako ng interior ng cr ko kaya iba na yung lalagyan ko ng mga stocks ko ng toothpaste.

I was still busy doing some personal matters when finally lumabas din si Ate na parang kabado, nagpasalamat ito at nagpaalam na pupunta na sa room nya. Binigyan ko lang ito ng thumbs up dahil naka focus nga ako sa tinatapos ko.

5 minutes after ni ate lumabas ng room ko, naalala ko na di ko pala natanggal yung pregnancy test ko sa basurahan ko. Dali dali naman akong pumunta sa cr para kunin yung pt ko. But wala na ito sa basurahan ko, I searched my entire room and wala ito dito. Nag try akong tingnan lahat ng drawers ko dahil baka dun ko lang ito nailagay pero, wala, walang pregnancy test. Bumilis na ang tibok ng puso ko, hindi ko alam kung anong gagawin ko.

"Omyghad what if nakuha ni Ate Celestiana yung Pregnancy Test ko. Omg I'm so in big trouble." I said in my head. Sana talaga ay hindi nya sabihin kina ate kung sakaling sya ang nakakuha. Lord ikaw na bahala sakin.

Fast Forward, Check Up.

"yup, you are indeed pregnant Ms. Araneta." the ob told me.

The entire check up ay tahimik lang ako. Sa sobrang daming tumatakbo sa utak ko.

Binigyan lang ako ng doctor ng Vitamins ko at umalis na ako ng clinic nya.

I went to the beach para naman makahinga hinga kahit papaano.

" What if ipalaglag ko nalang ang bata? My parents doesn't have to know. Ikakagalit nila" Imik ko sa hangin habang sinisipa ang pinong buhangin.

"At yan ang hindi mo gagawin, Victorina" imik ng isang pamilyar na boses. I turned around to see my Ate Venice behind me.

"ate? Papano? Alam mo?" I uttered.

"nakita ko yung to sa CR mo, so I followed you earlier." She said handing me the Positive Pregnancy test that I was searching for last night.

"Alam kong si Vince ang ama nyan, hindi mo maitatago sakin ." She said, she knows that I'm in a relationship with Vince because she once saw us on a date.

"Ate I'm sorry, he left me. Ayaw nyang panagutan yung bata" iyak ko.

"then palalakihin mo sya ng ikaw lang at wala si Vince. Hindi mo ipapalaglag yan dahil kasalanan yun at lalong ikakagalit nina Mommy." She said caressing my hair.

"Ate hindi ko kaya." I uttered.

"Kakayanin mo kasi responsibilidad mo na sya ngayon. Tutulungan ka ni ate, di kita pababayaan." she replied.

" Thank you ate" wika ko at niyakap sya ng mahigpit.

"You have to tell everyone this. Specially kina ate" She said at bumitaw sa yakap.

"ate please, give me time na paghandaan kung pano ko sasabihin sa kanila, I'm sure kasi na ikakagalit nila to" I begged.

"sya sige, I'll let you handle it, basta you have to tell them as soon as possible. Mas mabuti ng umamin ka kesa malaman pa nila sa iba, lalo si Ate Brie, alam mo kung pano yun magalit." She said. Well she's right, My Ate Brie hates liars. Hindi ko alam kung anong magiging reaksyon nya at kung ano ang kaya nyang gawin.

"Uwi na tayo, mag gagabi na oh, bawal sa buntis ang mapagod. Baka hanap na din tayo ni Mommy. " sabi nya.

We went home, si Ate na ang nag drive ng kotse ko kasi ng taxi lang naman sya kanina.

Just in time to start dinner, we arrived home. We went to our room to prepare before going downstairs for dinner. They asked me where I went after our customary supper, and Ate Venice replied that we visited an art display. All of us went to bed after dinner. Kinakabahan pa rin ako, nag iisip kung papano ko aaminin sa pamilya ko ang pagbubuntis ko.
