I let out a couple of shaky breaths as I reached for a water bottle, a wet cloth, anything to get rid of this damn heat!
Turns out being too lazy to find a mate came to bite me in the ass. You see there's one thing that I have to worry about and that is heat. Unlike with omegas my heat can actually kill me! The only thing that can save me is making love to an omega. Sounds easy right. Well unfortunately all the omegas have been taken, leaving me royally screwed!
"Gah!" I accidentally reached out too far and landed on the floor with a painful thud.
"Shikamaru!" My best friend and right hand man choji ran to my side "shikamaru are you ok?"
"I'm fine!" I slapped his hand away. I immediately regretted it when I saw the hurt in his eyes "sorry. I'm just in a shit mood"
"I can see why" he smiled kindly as he helped me into bed "is there anything you need shikamaru"
"No I'm fine" I guzzled down a bottle of water "what a drag this is. I never expected I'd die such a pityful death"
"You're not going to die shikamaru" choji said firmly "I will save you!"
"I wouldn't hold my breath pal" I smirked "there isn't really any omega's left to help me"
"I'll find one" he yelled with tears in his eyes "I'll find one even if it takes me all day and night" with that he ran out of the room. I sighed to myself.
He's always been so emotional. I'm going to miss him.
