I hummed to myself as I walked alongside my boyfriend shikamaru. We had just finished some supplies shopping and were making our way home.
"I was thinking we could make some yakisoba for dinner" I smiled at him. Getting out always puts me in a good mood.
"Ye-yeah" he muttered absentmindedly. I've noticed he's been figity ever since we left. I wonder what's up with him.
"Shikamaru is everything alr-" I was cut off by shikamaru turning suddenly and taking me by the shoulders.
"I just remembered, there's one store I missed" he said suddenly.
I was a little taken aback by his sudden outburst but I forced a smile and said "well that's fine. We can go in and-"
"No no baby you wait right here. I'll be just a second" with that he rushed into a store I didn't recognise.
Before I could contemplate what just happened hinata showed up.
"Hey nii-chan" she said brightly before noticing the look on my face "is something wrong?"
"Shikamaru just ran off with barely any explanation" I muttered.
"That's strange" she said before leaning in and whispered "you don't think he's being disloyal do you?"
"No I don't think anything like that. It's just.. weird" I looked off to the side,lost in thought. What is up with him?
