Chapter VII

Weeks have gone by and ever since my first encounter with my Albedo~, I've been enjoying waking up early and stuff. I'm also excited to finish lectures cuz I'll be meeting Albedo at the lab!

- few weeks before -

"Albedo~ what can I do for today~?" I happily asked and went closer beside him. He stoped and doesn't seem to be bothered and looked confused.

"... Start by cleaning the shelfs there and I will head out to get specific items for experiments." Albedo said with no expression and soon distanced himself from you and went to the door, causing me to frown.

"I'll come with you!" I said

"There's no need for you to accompany me-"

"But you'll have a hard time carrying a lot of stuff! Let me help you!" I insisted, showing sparkles in my eyes and Albedo turned around to look at me, letting out a soft sigh

"Alright... If you insist" Albedo said and I cheered happily while taking his hand which shocked him

"Yay! Let's go!" I exclaimed and Albedo sighed in defeat

"Albedo can I ask you something?" I said while cleaning the messy tables, so that Albedo can have an organized lab! He doesn't mind too hehe

"hm? Go ahead" Albedo said while looking through the microscope

"what's your favourite food..?" I asked and immediately went beside him, waiting for his answer. He didn't rely quickly because he's too focused on the microscope

"hm... I usually have a small appetite" He calmly said while writing some science stuff on his clipboard

"aw, really?" I mumbled 'then how are we going to get lunch together...' I asked myself with a frown

Albedo replied with a hum and nods. Then soon he noticed my hopeless face which made him feel bad for some reason "however... I enjoy having desserts." he continued

Then soon my face lit up and have an idea

...Next day...

"Ah ha! Finally I found you! Hehe" I exclaimed as I slid the door open and saw Albedo jump a little because of my sudden action

"ah, (y/n). You startled me, it's just you..." He sighed and went back to his research

"oh sorry, Albedo!"

"No no, it's alright... Why are you here? Do you need something?" He asked while he took of his gloves as he look at me. 'DAMN WHY ARE YOU HOT'

"O-oh, t-that! Nothing much! I-I just wanted to visit the lab! Thats all!" I lied and avoided his eyes because my face is getting redder

"I see.." He simply said and looked over to see what Im holding

"So you're in here every Lunch Time? you didn't tell me" I changed the subject and walked inside

"... Why would I tell you..?"

'So I can see you more often~' LIKE HELL I WOULD SAY THAT "A-ah thats because- u-uhm... So I can help you!" I lied again with a nervous smile and Albedo hummed softly in response

"You don't need to help me during Lunch times, (y/n). Feel free to leave if you want to" He said with an emotionless face

"B-but aren't you hungry? I brought some sweets on the way so you can-"
