=Rumors=

(Y/N)'s POV

Exams are coming up and I've been having a hard time in math(s)... I groaned out of frustration as I head inside the gates of the university. 'I should ask Bennett if he could— nahh he said he'll be busy taking care of his dads' I thought as I closed my eyes

'Then I'll ask Amy and Aether—! No, we're not in the same field..' I let out a deep sigh 'Razor? Nevermind..' I sighed again

While walking towards the main building, my thoughts were cut off by the whispers of students around as they look suspiciously at me. 'Wait... They're looking at me? Why?' I ask myself but I just ignored them and made my way to my class in a hurry.

After hearing countless gossips and whispers in the building, I finally got to my class and saw Bennett sitting on our spot. But as soon as I open the door, many students in the room turned their heads to look at me which made me feel anxious and awkward

Bennett then noticed me and quickly gave me a signal to come sit beside him quickly. I immediately followed him and sat beside him with a confused face. "Benny! Why am I being looked at?" I whispered

"I don't know either. But I heard some rumor a while ago" He mumbled and My eyes widen

"What rumor? Spill it!" I whispered and It made Bennett chuckle

"It's about Ms. Andrea dating a Junior," Bennett said while laughing quietly "But I don't think that's real. Pff, Why would Ms. Andrea date one of her students?" He chuckled

After Bennett told me the rumor it made my eyes wide even more with shock but why would they all stare at me like that if that's the rumor?

"Yeah, it's stupid" I nervously chuckle with him

Lunch came but people are still staring at me while gossiping as I walk by and it's starting to make me uncomfortable. Amy and Aether didn't come today, Bennett told me that Amy got sick and Aether had a sudden trip to Inazuma. So it's just Me, Bennett, and Razor eating at the rooftop.

"Hey Razor, Have any clue on why all the students are staring at me?" I asked while eating a burger and Razor shook his head

"No. Been.. Sleeping.. A lot" Razor said while chewing his food and I sighed in defeat. "Sorry.." He mumbled softly as his face started to frown and I panicked

"H-hey it's alright, Razor! You don't have to say sorry" I smiled at him while patting his head and he seems to be enjoying it

"Maybe.. (y/n) is... Too pretty.. And popular... hm" Razor said gently while nodding at his words and my face turned red because of embarrassment

'Hm yes indeed im pretty, BUT im not that popular!' I said to myself then replied to him with a smile "Aww Thanks Razor! Hehe"

"Guys, I'm back with more potatoes!" Bennett exclaimed as he went through the door and Razor's eyes lit up with a spark. I giggled at how cute he is

"I'll return the trays to the cafeteria now," I said to them while picking up the food trays. Bennett told me to watch my step while heading down and I gave him a thumbs up then went inside

I can still hear gossips and whispers as I went through the cafeteria and I'm getting sick of it! I sighed as I thought of the upcoming exam next week "Who am I going to ask now.." I mumbled while placing the trays on the table near the kitchen and someone did the same beside me too

"Ask what?" A familiar voice asked beside me. I shifted my head and saw Diluc with a raised eyebrow. 'REDHEAD!'

"Perfect timing, Cherry top! I have to ask you something! Come, come, come, It's too noisy here" I quickly said as I grabbed his hand and pulled him outside the cafeteria. I felt his hand tensed up at first but soon relaxes while gripping my hand too
