Weekends have passed quickly after the fatui incident, my minor injuries are healed but some left scars that are barely visible, and now I'm in class trying to listen to my professor but my mind was always full of mixed feelings. I still haven't forgotten the way Diluc said...

I blushed slightly as I quietly touched my right ear, feeling that he's whispering close again while my heart was throbbing continuously. I furrowed my eyebrows

'Why am I still like this! Stop this nonsense (y/n)! We gotta focus!' I groaned softly to avoid making benny worry sitting beside me.

'I only like Albedo and that's final!'

2nd Class ended and Bennett always complained about the formulas while I was trying to forget these stupid feelings! We are now walking out of the cafeteria with our food in our hands and of course, the damn rumor is still lively but I just ignored them. Benny started ranting because he has a lot of pending tasks to do and I just nodded every question he asked but not thinking straight

'I have to avoid him, for the sake of my love for Albedo and-'

I was about the head up to the stairs with Bennett but the corner of my eye caught some 2 familiar figures in a distance, standing near the school garden.

I turned my head towards their direction and clearly saw Albedo and Sucrose together but I'm just seeing their backs. I tightly clenched my hand on the tray a little

"(Y/n), you coming?" Benny asked and I immediately turned my head to face him

"O-oh, I think I forgot to buy hash browns for Razor, hehe..." I lied and Bennett raised an eyebrow

"But I already got him one," He said and I averted my gaze to look for an excuse

"U-uh.. I. Uhm... I gotta buy more.. Because-.. You know- he.. Really really realllllyyy likes them..?" I said with a reassuring smile. Bennett then smiled back with a thumbs up

"Alright! I'll bring your tray with me so it will be easier for you to go up the stairs." Bennett said while reaching his hand out for my tray and I stared blankly at him

"U-uhh.. N-no I got it, Benny... You-"

"Nahh, it's fine. I got this" He said while grinning from ear to ear which made me mentally die from cuteness

I looked at his hand as I hesitated to give my tray to him. But I just can't refuse because of his innocent smile, I sighed. "Okay.. Just be super careful!" I pout as I gave him my food

Bennett chuckled and said okay while heading up the stairs. 'I just hope he won't-'

"AHH!"

Bennett's voice echoed from upstairs with a thud

I sighed and I immediately looked up the stairs with a worried expression. "Bennett! Are you okay?" I yelled as it echoed back up to him 'I can't see him'

"Y-yeah! I'm fine! And the food is fine! but.. Except for my tray tho.." He said as I chuckled at him

"you can have mine! I'll just get another one"

"But-"

"No buts! Now, go and meet the others!" I interrupted as I saw Benny peaking down the stairs and I smiled at him 'what a cutie'
