"Don't move."

William's blood ran cold. They had just been found out. And if Jack really was the killer, then they were in deep trouble.

Well shit.

"Stay exactly where you are.", Jack Duquesne said, as he circled Clint, sword still trained on the archer's neck.

Kate quickly ran up, trying to control the situation.

"Jack, no!", she pleaded, staring straight into his eyes.

"Mr. Duquesne. Chill. Why don't you.... put the sword down, and we can have a little sit-down and talk it out.", the vampire calmly asked, palms in front of him, as he slowly walked forward. By showing his palms, he was causing Jack to subconsciously trust him, and also proving he had nothing to hide. Guess being trained by a russian spy was paying off.

"What the hell is going on? And why is there an Avenger in my dining room?", an exasperated mom voice, which belonged invaded the Stark's ears.

"Miss Bishop.", he greeted, and she merely nodded her head.

"Hi.", Clint awkwardly waved. It was at this point that Jack lowered the weapon, as recognition filled his eyes.

"Oh, my God. You're... You're the Archer!", he exclaimed

"Hawkeye.", Kate added timidly.

"Clint.", the archer said, and the blueberry eyed girl rolled her eyes.

"It's the branding issue, I'm telling you.", she told him, and the vampire nodded his head.

"Yes. Exactly, exactly.", he agreed, even though he never liked her pitch of branding issues. Odd.

"Yeah, sure."

The trio were now seated in front of the recently engaged couple, while they looked at them with inquisitive eyes.

William uncomfortably fidgeted under their scrutinizing gazes, while his leg bounced up and down in nervousness. The situation was hauntingly similar, to when he would sneak around the Malibu mansion at 3 in the morning, to grab a bite from the kitchen, only to be caught by Tony and Pepper, because Jarvis would snitch on him, and get a light scolding. Though the three would later eat frosted pizza, while watching a movie in the living room.

The memory itself, caused the boy with whiskey-brown orbs to smile slightly.

"Hawkeye, Liam and I are working on a case.", Kate finally broke the long, and awkward silence, as she started her explanation.

"And Clint needed to use the bathroom.", William added.

"He did. So, we were by the house, we dropped in. No big deal."
