JS2: ZARI'S POV.
I am holding my diploma while staring at my phone like a crazy girl waiting for my parents to congratulate me. Kaden is busy thanking his friends who congratulated us. Palinga linga ako sa paligid nang makitang papalapit sa direksyon namin sina Tita Sheila at ang pinsan kong si Chloe at Ylla.
Nanlaki ang mga mata ko at mabilis na kumaway sa kanila. Sinabi ko kay Kaden na pupuntahan muna sila kaya kinalas niya ang kamay naming dalawa at hinalikan pa ang noo ko bago ako pinakawalan.
"Nak! Pasensya kana at nahuli kami, traffic kasi.." Tita Sheila soonly hug me as I came towards them.
"Okay lang po, nakaabot pa naman kayo. Hi Ylla at Chloe," I said and greeted my cousins who's now widely smiling.
"Hello po, congratulations po!" they greeted back.
"Congratulations pala nak, graduate kana. Bar exam nalang may lawyer na kami,"may pinawi si Tita Sheila sa pisngi niya kaya natawa ako ng unti.
"Wag na po kayong umiyak, salamat sa pagpunta. Pagkatapos po ng bar exam tatawag agad ako."
"First take lang yan ate, sobrang galing mo raw e sabi ni Mama.." Chloe said cutely and I pinch her cheek.
"First take lang, law fighter kaya ako!"
Nagkausap pa kami saglit bago sila nagpaalam na mauuna na. Lumapit naman agad sakin si Kaden at nilagay ang braso sa balikat ko bago ako niyuko at nginitian.
"How was it?"
I shrugged."It's nice..masaya ako."
"I know you will be, let's go? I have some plan for us tonight." nauna na siyang maglakad papunta sa sasakyan at nagtataka naman akong sumunod.
He has plans huh? Ano naman kaya yun?
My brows we're farrowed the whole time, pano ba naman kasi ayaw ni Kaden na magpalit kami ng damit. Dapat raw ay hanggang midnight ay suot namin ang toga, sulitin na dahil isang beses lang sa isang buhay.
"Sure ka? Hindi kaba naiinitan?"I asked, chuckling.
"Nope, it will be fun tangi.. promise."
He handed the glass of wine to me and wink, napanguso ako nang itinaas niya ang wine glass."Congratulations to us Attorney Angeles..." he uttered.
"Attorney ka dyan, wala pa ngang bar exam.."I laugh lightly as we drink the wine together.
"I believe in you.."natigilan ako sa mahina niyang tugon at napangiti.
"I believe in us."he added.
I nodded at him."We believe in ourselves, Attorney Chua."
He soonly get his keys and grab me outside. He surely lock the unit before I saw myself inside his car while he's starting the engine. It's already 6 PM, what's his plan for tonight? Road trip?
He handed me the paper bag of junk foods and drinks before he turn the stereo on that made my eyes widened.
Seriously? I watch him getting for his call plan and realized that I'm smiling big time!
He look up me and wink."Ayos ba?"
"I think so..."I nodded slowly.
"Okay then, ready?"
"I'll always be, if it's you Kaden." I chuckled and saw his ears getting red so I tease him about it.
He's smiling as we got out from the parking lot, I can see his eyes sparkling from our distance.
"Zari!"nagulat ako ng malakas siyang sumigaw at nakangiting nilingon ako.
"Ano?! Bat kaba sumisigaw!"
