"Ed Sheeran... Taylor Swift... Bruno Mars..." I suggested to myself as I thought any song to sing. "God, this is hard." I sighed and looked at myself in the bathroom mirror.
"I think you should do Taylor Swift since the other two are for the cool ones while TS is for the bitchy ones, like you!" Kitty Wilde said as she got out of the bathroom stall. "How are you here?" I ask her, with shocking look.
"Adams, I've been inside that stall moments before you and your priceless face got in." Kitty replied as she fixed her hair. "By the way, congratulations on your victory at Sectionals last Saturday." I congratulated her with a smile. "Thanks. By the way, are you picking songs for audition?" Kitty replied with a smile. I shook my head and reply, "No. I wanted to but I can't." Kitty comes closer and asks, "Why not?" I sigh and reply, "I'm too shy to Audition. Maybe, you guys will make fun of me when I sing." Kitty places a hand on my shoulder and replies, "Not at all. Come and audition. It'll be very fun." She left afterwards.

I thought about what Kitty said earlier and I made up my mind.
I stopped walking as I arrived at the New Directions choir room. "Hi, is there anything we could do for you?" Rachel Berry asked me and I nodded, looking at Kitty, who's smiling at me.
"I want to audition." I reply and Rachel nods. "Okay come!" She dragged me to the center and announced, "Everyone please pay attention to - What's your name?" Rachel asked me.
"I'm Natalie Adams and I'll be singing Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran." I said and Rachel went to the back and sat beside Kurt Hummel-Anderson and Blaine Anderson-Hummel.

As I finished the song, everyone bursts out in cheers and claps. I guess I was good.
"That was amazing!" Rachel complimented.
"Fantastic!" Kurt corrected.
"Breath-taking!" Blaine spoke up too.
"To make it fair, she's amazing, fantastic and breath-taking." Mr. Schuester spoke up.
I smiled at them and said, "Thank you for the compliments!"
They all clapped once again and Rachel said, "Come join us." I nodded and sat beside Kitty and Spencer Porter.
Rachel, Kurt, Blaine and Mr. Schue stood up and headed in front while everyone got ready.
"Told you that you could do it." Kitty whispered and I smiled at her.
"Guys, our week assignment is Boys vs Girls!" Mr Schue announced while Rachel wrote it down.
"Wait. That's unfair because the boys are many while there's only 4 girls!" Madison complained. "Well, I guess you girls can kill it just like during Sectionals." Kurt reassured.
"That was during Sectionals because we had to do it. We had to kill it off to win." Jane replied.
"Well, you girls can do it again!" Blaine suggested with a smile.
"Uh-uh." Kitty replied.
"Nope." Madison replied.
"Hell to the no." Jane replied.
They all looked at me like I needed to make a choice.
"No thanks!" I replied.
"Okay fine. I'll change the assignment if you could a powerhouse!" Mr Schue challenged.
"Judge?" I ask and he points to himself. "Let's see if you guys could do a powerful performance." Mr Schue teased and we girls headed to center stage.
Jane:

We posed after the performance and everyone bursts out into cheers and claps.
"Okay. You guys win!" Mr Schue announces and we cheer up. The others congratulate me because it's my first time doing a group number.
"I think I know this week's assignment," Mr Schue said and we all look at him.
"We should do Duets 2.0."
