Chapter 5 ➹ Ariana Grande Pt. 2

// Natalie's POV //

I opened my locker and placed inside my books. I sighed and then, "Hi there!" Someone shouted which scared me. I drop my books and bent down to pick them up. The 'someone' who scared me helped me too and I looked at him.

Josh Smith.

"Oh, hi Josh." I greeted him with a smile. "Hi Natalie. I didn't mean to scare you." He replied and gave me my books. I slammed my locker shut and reply, "Nah. It's okay." I smile at him and he replies, "I've heard you got English on first period, wanna come with me?" He asked. I nodded and reply, "I guess you have too."

We both chuckle and walked down the hall, heading to the English classroom.

"You're in the Glee club right?" Josh asked.

I nodded, "Yep."

He nods and reply, "Are you having fun? I mean, is it fun?"

I nodded and reply, "Of course. Glee Club is my life and will always be until the end."

He nods and points at the English classroom. "Here we are." He says and we head in, but Kitty stops me and pulls me over.

"Adams, if he your boyfriend? He looks cute!" Kitty whispers as she points at Josh.

"Nope. He's not and if you have a crush on him, why don't you ask him out." I reply and enter the classroom followed by Kitty.

I spot two spares for me and Kitty. One beside Josh and another behind the vacant. I wanted to seat in the 2nd vacant but Kitty got there first and gave me the seat beside Josh. I give her an annoyed look and she raises a pair of peace sign.

I sat beside Josh and placed my book and notebook on top of my armchair.

"Hey again." Josh greeted me with a smile.

I didn't look at him and I didn't reply back. Instead, I pretended not to hear anything.

Natalie:

After my imaginary singing performance, I was scared by Kitty saying,

"Adams, are you daydreaming?!"

I shook my head and reply, "Nope." I sigh and sit back up, listening to the lesson.

I took a quick glance at Josh, who's drawing something in his notepad. I didn't mind his drawing since I focused on the lesson itself.
