Chapter 6 ➹ Love Love Love

// Josh's POV //

Natalie.

I have feelings for her, okay. Yes - I have a crush on her. She's so beautiful and smart and is a good singer. I'd want my future kiddos to be like that someday. But, yesterday during English class. I think I did something she didn't like, because that maybe made her angry and quiet.

"Hey Nat." I saw her and called out to her, waving.

"Hi Josh." She replied and waved back at me.

I approached her and tried to walk her to class, but Mason and Madison, the incest twins took her first.

"Hey! I'll take you lunch later?!" I shout at them.

Natalie turns around and nods.

I saw Natalie sitting with some of her friends on the cafeteria.

I approached them and say, "Hey. Can I join you guys?" Natalie smiles and nods. I sit beside her and eat my lunch.

"Are you Josh Smith?" Madison asked me.

I nod and reply, "Yep."

"That's good because Nata--" Myron spoke up but Kitty place a hand on his mouth, stopping him.

"Don't worry. He's the young Sue Sylvester." Kitty reassured me.

"But isn't that bad?" I asked.

"It's okay. We've proven that already." Jane replied.

"Oh." Is all I can reply.

"God, I hate the Warblers so much." Mason said, changing the topic.

"Me too." Madison replied.

"Everyone does." Kitty replied.

"I'm okay with them not in the group." Myron replied and Kitty smacked some fries in his mouth.

Everyone burst out laughing at them. Myron gives Kitty a sassy look before Kitty hugs him.

Natalie's in the glee club? I should try to join in then...

"Can I still audition?" I ask the whole group.

They nod and Mason says, "But you should pick a nice song. Everyone likes the 90s." He and Madison high-five each other.

After lunch, I decided to audition since I already have a song to sing. So I entered the choir room as Mr Schue, Rachel, Kurt and Blaine discuss their next assignment.

I knock on the door, "Hi." I greeted with a smile.

"Hi there. You auditioning for the glee club?" Kurt asked.

"Yep." I reply, entering.

"Thats great." Rachel replied and the coaches take a seat beside the New Directions.

I stand in the center of the choir room, facing the coaches and the New Directions. "I'm Josh Smith and I'll be singing Maps by Maroon 5."

Josh:

Everyone claps for me while I bow in front. I took a quick glance at Natalie, who's smiling, clapping and cheering for me.

"Welcome to the New Directions, Josh!" They all cheer for me.
