It had been a couple days since Aoimiya told Ayato about Thoma and how he was friends with both her and Ayaka. The problem was he liked keeping their friendship secret. When becoming friends with Ahoma, ayato's 'crush' on Thoma kind of stopped, he enjoyed their mutual friendship. Did Thoma like Ayato ? He didn't know but what was certain is that Ayato only considered Thoma a friend.
"Hey Ayato" Thoma said as he watched his friend enter the teahouse "The usual please" Ayato answered smilingly. Thoma set up a table for two and when his shift was over , he pushed ayato's phone down and grinned "hey Ayato my shift's ove-" He was stopped by a hand slamming into his head and the sudden feeling of cold lips forcefully meeting his and a flustered Ayato meeting his face.
Ayato pulled away within seconds of realizing what had just happened. Ayato looked behind him to see Yoimiya smirking "what the fuck Yoimiya " they said simultaneously " you know her?" Thoma asked. "It's my sister's girlfriend how would I not" Ayato replied. Thoma thought for a second , connecting the dots that Ayato was Ayaka's older brother. The older brother she wanted him to meet.
Ayato apologized sincerely to Thoma for not having backed away sooner and ran to the bathroom 'how embarrassing!' What the fuck had he done , had he given it away? ( there might be confusion to what was said at the beginning of the chapter but basically Ayato was trying to hold back his feeling for Thoma so that it wouldn't ruin their friendship) was Thoma straight? Had that made him uncomfortable? WHY WAS HE ASKING HIMSELF THIS??? Thoma started it, did Thoma set this up, was this all a joke to him?
Ayato felt noting but tears begging to sting his eyes as he looked up at the dim light above him holding back tears. 'Yoimiya is to blame , I should have denied it , now look what I've done' Ayato had fucked up , he was mad at Thoma when it was actually Yoi. (The truth is that Ayato can't cope with the fact that he's gay)
Yoimiya has done this , he should have denied the fact that he liked thoma , he should have denied it all. Thoma probably hates him by now , he's probably blocked him. Ayato's mind went fuzzy as he walked out of the bathroom to see Thoma worriedly staring at Ayato. "Is anything wrong?" IS ANYTHING WRONG??? The guy he's had a crush of for months was forcefully pushed into his face which caused them to kiss which lead to Ayato almost fucking crying in the bathrooms like a 16 year old girl in a cheesy American movie who got blocked by her sugar daddy. --------------------

It was pouring and Thoma decided once again to bring Ayato to a cake shop. There weren't any taxis so they had to walk . Most of the way there they awkwardly talked about knowing the same person and so on and so on until Thoma mentioned Ayaka and ask if she was Ayato's sister , of course Ayato had no ulterior motif and just agreed.
When they got to the shop , Ayato picked a selection of sweet things.

Thoma then offered for them to go and eat at his house to which Ayato agreed. Thoma's house was surprisingly close to the shop but about 2h away from Ayato's house by walk.
When arriving Thoma heated a kettle and made warm tea for his friend to which he lead to the living room.

The both shared the snacks and talked about mostly random things before getting a hurricane warning "fuck" Ayato gasped "you could stay until it's gone?" Thoma replied positively. " sure!" Ayato replied masking the fact that he was genuinely exited.
"Wanna watch a movie?" The slightly shorter male asked
"Sure" the blue haired boy replied
"Which one?" Thoma asked
"How about a silent voice?"
"Sure"
Thoma searched the store for the movie and when he found it , he clicked play.
Within seconds of it starting , Ayato had began to lean on Thoma's shoulder.
