Munch didn't wanna be in school at the moment. Frankly, he wanted to be at home, in his room, in his bed... but he was here, in math class. He put his pencil down and looked up, not wanting to do the worksheet any longer.
"Munch, what's up?" His teacher asked, noticing.
"Uh... can I go to the bathroom?" He asked, just wanting to get out of his classroom.
"Sure." His teacher said as he stood up, pushed in his chair, and left the classroom.
He walked down the hall and turned left and continued walking, then he saw someone familiar down the hall.
Jake Turner. Weird ass Jake fucking Turner.
He knew it wasn't Jakes fault, but he couldn't help but hate him anyway. Whispering into Mikaela's ear, arm around her waist... that should've been him, not fucking Jake Turner.
A rush of anger flowed through him. He stalked toward Jake, who recognized him and smiled.
He kept his face stony and cold, then he rammed his shoulder in Jakes.
"Hey!" Jake said as he hit him. Munch  didn't turn around.
"Asshole." Jake muttered.
"What did you call me?" Munch said, turning on his heel to face backstabber Jake.
"I called you an asshole. Because you are one. Why have you been so stupidly rude? I didn't do anything to you." He said, his voice rising.
"Oh but you did." Munch said icily.
"Oh what was that then?" Jake said, exasperated.
"You tell me. Why were you practically kissing her last Friday at the party? She's... I like her. You know that."
"Buddy I got no idea what you're talking about." Jake said.
"Mikaela." Munch said, his voice dripping with hate.
Realization flashed in Jake's eyes.
Good. He remembered.
"Yeah. Now you remember, don't you?" Munch said.
"But I don't get it, what does that have to do with anything?" Jake asked.
"Jake are you stupid?" Munch asked bluntly. Jake opened his mouth but not words came out. Then, he knew. Munch could see it in his face.
"Munch... I didn't know you liked her too... I'm sorry-"
"Bullshit." Munch hissed.
"It isn't. I didn't know! How was I supposed to?" Jake exclaimed.
"Jake you're a fucking idiot-"
"HEY!" Shouted a voice from down the hall. Munch looked up and so did Jake.
There was a girl walking down the hall towards both of them. She was wearing a pink tie die t-shirt, black leggings, and white Adidas sneakers.
It was Mikaela.
"What the hell is happening?" She exclaimed. "Why are you two yelling at each other?"
"I'm not yelling." Jake said, eyes on Munch.
If Mikaela hadn't have intervened, Munch would've thrown a punch.
"Munch... what the fuck?" She asked.
"I..." he couldn't tell her. It was too petty a reason.
"It doesn't matter." Jake said. He looked at Munch. "Munch... I'm sorry... for...what I did." Jake said slowly.
"It's ok." Munch said quietly, defeated.
"Ok." Mikaela said, calmly. She turned around to face Jake and said something Munch couldn't hear. Jake nodded, his eyes on Munch. She turned around again. "God Munch you looked like you were about throw fists."
He didn't say anything.
"Sorry, Jake." He muttered. Then he turned and walked down the hall, face red. He couldn't believe what he had almost done.
If Mikaela hadn't stepped in, god knows what he would've done to Jake.
