My mom is blunt and never shy away to say what she is thinking. She thought I was crazy and told me to not do this. However, this opinion quickly changed. Throughout my pregnancy with Elijah, I saw Bamba become excited, rejuvenated, happier and overall better health wise. ❤️ Her face lit up in so much happiness when we FaceTimed her after he was born, she couldn't wait until she could come over our house to meet him. When Bamba first met him, she held him for almost three hours, not wanting to let anybody else have a turn 😂 Today, Bamba always wants Elijah to come with me when I visit her everyday. She loves to have him be close, give him kisses and just hold him. I am so happy these two have such a loving and close bond. Bamba is Elijah's last living grandparent with my dad and both of Joe's parents being gone. I hope their bond continues to be close and sweet ❤️ February 9th
