A week later...

"Are you sure?" My mom asked me

"Yes" I tried to grab my keys from her but she moved her hand away

"Are you positive ?" She asked

"Yes mom can you give me the keys" I chuckled and she gave them to me

"Be careful I don't even feel like you're ready to be driving again. If you feel weird in any type of way you better pull over and call me or your dad" She said and I nodded

"Aight I'm staying after school to watch them practice though"

"Okay but just take it easy today doodie you'll be back out there soon" She said following me today the front door

"I Hope so"

"I'm gonna be running errands all day so make sure you got your house key because Kemani won't be home either"

"Aight love you" I said walking out

"I love you too"

I got in my car starting it up and turning the radio on

I tried calling Maegan again before I pulled off but it rang all the way through with no answer

"Mmcht" I threw my phone in the passenger seat and pulled off

All I know is if she ain't at school i'm going to her cribb

When I walked in the school I started walking around looking for Maegan. It was only about 10 minutes until class started so I knew I didn't have that much time

"He's back!" D2 smiled walking up to me and I chuckled dapping him up

"Wassup"

"You ready for this Friday's game?  I heard we supposed to be playing against the cardinals this time" He said

"Ion even think i'm playing I'll talk about that at practice though, Have you seen Maegan?"

"Yea she was with Kayla by the stairs- oh wait she right there" He pointed and I turned around seeing Maegan walking with her best friend and laughing

"Imma see you later" I told him walking over to her. When she seen me her and Kayla both paused their conversation

"Best friend imma go to class" Kayla said mugging me before walking away

"Can I talk to you ?" I asked and and she started walking off

"Bruh where are you going?" I smacked my lips

"There's nothing to talk about" She rolled her eyes

I looked around first then grabbed her arm and pulled her into the girls bathroom
