"If linear means that the line is going diagonal on the graph then how is A the answer?" I scrunched my face up looking at the boys paper in front of me. Kasen chuckled looking at the paper with me as the boy stood in front of our desk

"Oh shit I thought the straight line meant diagonal this whole time"

"Nah but this is how I remember them. Horizontal line means straight, diagonal line means gay" I told him and he laughed

"Are you Horizontal or diagonal ?" I asked him

"I'm straight-"

"Meaning you're horizontal"

"Ohh I get it" He said in realization and I nodded

"Yea it's a weird way of learning it but it works" I looked back down at my paper finishing up my last problem

"Thank you" He said and I nodded before he walked back off to his desk

"You a diagonal line huh" Kasen said grinning at me

"I think i'm more of a non-linear line. I ain't straight and I ain't slanted, i'm curvy because I like both" I smirked and he started cracking up

Once I was done with my work I turned it in and sat back down

"You taking real long on them problems" I said to Kasen who looked real focused on his work

"Miss I need help" Somebody spoke out loud to the teacher

"Can you help Kayla with her work? she's at the table right behind you" She asked and I turned around. it was that girl that be with Maegan

"No. I can't" I said looking at her who had a ugly mug on her face. Kasen looked at her and laughed

"Okay settle down guys, Kayla i'll help you with your work when i'm finished over here" The teacher said and I laughed turning around

"Yea, learn how to do math before speaking ta me" I looked back in my phone as Kasen went to turn his work in. I sat there thinking to myself for a second before looking around the classroom
