"I hate this" I frowned walking into the school with Kasen holding my hand "I really hate this" I took a sip of my frappe from McDonald's, I swear they have the best breakfast. With it being the first day back from our break McDonald's breakfast was the only thing that got me motivated to get up out of bed this morning

"Lighten up, you bringing my mood down" He mugged me

"What is there to be happy about?" I raised a brow at him as he let go of my hand and put his arm around me instead

"The fact that we only got a couple of months left then we out this bitch, for good" He smiled before taking a bite out of his hash brown "So be quiet, and enjoy these days while they here" he put it up to my mouth and I took a bite

"Oh shut up, tryna sound all poetic and shit, fuck this school" I said and he laughed opening the door for us. he's such a morning person and I hate it because i'm not one at all

"Wassup" People were already speaking to him as we walked down the hall. we went to his locker and he put one of his bags in there

"I have a meeting after school" I frowned looking at the message I just got from my coach "Like what is there to even talk aboutttt" I dragged throwing my head back

"At least you gon be able to cheer again though" He shut his locker and we started walking again "Youn got that cast in yo way nomore"

"Yea but it ain't cheer for the football players no more so I really don't care for it" I said and he chuckled. now that football season is over here comes basketball season, I like football cheer way better

"You know you can cheer for me whenever you want" He smirked and I laughed

He put his arm back around me and we started heading towards our math class, not too long after that the bell rung. when we got to class we sat down and I sipped on my frappe

"Good morning beautiful people, I hope you guys had an amazing Winter break" The teacher began talking

"Good morning miss" Kori walked in and coming up to our desk and putting a chair in front of it "Wassup y'all" He did the handshake with Kasen then me

"How was everyone's break?" The teacher asked the class

"Mmcht, don't even get me started" Kori said making some people in the class laugh

The teacher chuckled "Thanks for sharing Kori. I think we can all agree that we did not wanna come back to school today, I definitely would rather be at home with my family but let's just get through these last few months together shall we"

"We shall" Kori said and Kasen nudged my shoulder

"You heard that?" He asked

"Mhm" I rested my head on one of my arms

"Man i'm tired as hell" Kori ruffled his hair

"You niggas need to lock in foreal" Kasen mugged the both of us
