(Context: when he was working for director croissant, he had met the cappuccino from that time line and surprisingly became close friends. At first he didn't interact with her at all and found her annoying, but it slowly grew on him after she started to call him toughie as a nickname. He just wishes he had been more nice to her sooner because ya know later after he finishes his job and heads back, that time line disappears. After witnessing croissant disappear he had to see cappuccino disappear too, both affected the poor cookie, especially when cappuccino just pulled him into a hug right before disappearing. And when returning back the current day TBD, he mistook the current day cappuccino to be his friend and pulled her into a hug. Timekeeper had told him "that's not the old friend you once knew." He'd forgotten there was another version of her. And had gotten upset after cappuccino had started calling him the old nickname is past friend had gave him.) might make a chapter about it in another book—
