"Calm down Lily, everything is going to be fine" Y/N told her sister who was slightly freaking out walking up the driveway to the Potter's house. James had invited all his friends plus his girlfriend to his house during the summer before their sixth year.

It was a very warm day in late August, a light breeze blew on the girls as they make it to the front door.  "I know, it's just first impressions are important. I don't want James' parents to think I'm not good for their son" Lily said ringing the doorbell.

"They'll love you, don't worry" she smiled

A few seconds later the door swung open, revealing a slightly out of breath James.
"Ladies! Welcome to casa de Potter, come on in." James said with a little too much enthusiasm.

The girls walk into the foyer, already standing there were Remus and Peter. Mr. and Mrs. Potter walk in.

"Ah, you must be the Evans sisters. We've heard a lot about you" Mr. Potter said shaking both their hands

"It's very nice to meet you Mr. Potter" Lily said

"Please, call me Fleamont" He smiled

"I'm Mia" Mrs. Potter said hugging both of the girls

"Thank you for letting us stay here" Y/N said

"It's our pleasure, James can you please show them to their room"

"Yes mum" he playfully rolled his eyes "this way girls" leading them up the stairs

After the girls got situated, James gave everyone the grand tour. Showing all the rooms, telling them stories of how he caused destruction to them. The five teens finally settled down in the living room, making plans for the summer.

Y/N looked around noticing someone was missing.

"When's Sirius supposed to get here?" She asked aloud

"I dunno, he was said he'd be here a half-hour ago" James said checking his watch

"Y'know Sirius, always fashionably late" Remus laughed

A few minutes passed, a hard knock on the door caught the kids attention. James stood up from the couch walking up to the door. Everyone falling close behind.

Opening the door, a bloody faced Sirius stood behind it. His white button up was half way done, a few buttons missing. Small drops of blood stain the shirt. Small suitcase in hand

"My god Sirius what happened to you" James asked shocked but also angry

Sirius didn't know what to say, emotions flooding his thoughts. His eyes could barely meet his friends as he walk through the door. "Run in with My father is all" he whispered

Y/N saw him, she wanted to help him but knew it was best to let him calm down before saying anything. She knew he'd had problems with his parents, hell everyone knew how the blacks felt about Sirius. Pure blood supremacists don't like when their child rebels.

She always felt lucky to have parents who were muggles, she didn't have to worry about them hating her for not hating others. Sirius told her about his summers at home, how he dreamed of running away to muggle town living a normal life. His carefree attitude was mostly a front, but he truly was a good person.
